Michael Jackson Bodyguard Fired

3/29/2010 1:50 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Alberto AlvarezTMZ has learned the bodyguard who says Dr. Conrad Murray asked him to help hide Propofol in Michael Jackson's house the day he died was fired from his job Friday by the Jackson family.

Alvarez had been working at the Jackson family compound in Encino since the singer died last June.

Alberto Alvarez is the bodyguard who called 911 from Jackson's house. Last week it was reported that Alvarez told LAPD detectives ... that before paramedics arrived on scene Dr. Murray asked him to put bottles of Propofol in a bag.

Alvarez -- who is sometimes referred to as Jackson's "logistics director" -- did not tell detectives about the alleged cover-up the day Jackson died, but rather two months later. The story about the alleged cover-up broke last Monday.

As for why Alvarez was fired, the Jackson family isn't talking.

In May, Murray said yes to Jackson, and in the last few months he made several trips to Los Angeles to work out the details of the contract and to meet with the star. One of Murray's patients, Donna DiGiacomo, 51, said she had heard that Murray had asked a colleague — a hospital doctor — to join Jackson’s medical team, but that doctor said he could not leave his family and business for such a long period of time.

Murray stayed at his own place in Los Angeles on most nights. But when asked, and only on occasion, he spent the night at Jackson’s rented Holmby Hills home, one of the doctor’s attorneys, Matt Alford, told FOXNews.com in an earlier interview.

On June 24, Jackson finished up a rehearsal at the Staples Center and asked Murray to stay the night. The next day around noon, Murray went to check on Jackson and found him lying on his bed unconscious, but with a weak pulse, the doctor's attorneys say.

Murray performed CPR for about 30 minutes and tried to call 911, but could not call out on the landlines, which had been turned off for security reasons. He could not use his cell phone because, his attorneys have said, he did not know the exact address of the house. After performing CPR on Jackson, who lay on his bed, for approximately 30 minutes, and after yelling out for someone else in the home, he left the pop star to try to find someone who could call 911. He found a chef in another part of the house. The chef then found a bodyguard, Alberto Alvarez, and while Murray rushed back to Jackson’s room and continued CPR, Alvarez called 911.

The time was 12:21 p.m.

Paramedics arrived three minutes later and worked on Jackson at his home for approximately 40 minutes before he was transported to UCLA Medical Center. Jackson continued to have a pulse while he was in the ambulance, according to Murray.

Has anyone stopped to consider that with his boss dead, there was no need for his job any longer? It appears that everyone lost their job after MJ died so I'm not really sure what they are trying to make out of this and I haven't heard this man come forward and claim that he was wrongfully discharged or anything.

CYC

Murray's prliminary hearing is on 5 April, 2010. I would assume the court will set a date for a trail then.
Hopefully, MURARY won't keep stalling this out. It is possible though.

Sleepy Time

Even if Dr. Murray is convicted, I will never believe that he injected MJ with the fatal dosage of Propofol.

I believe that MJ woke back up during Dr. Murray's absence, injected his own self with another dose of the drug and caused the OD himself.

I say cuff that corpse and throw it in a prison cell.

Hi, Butterfly, what is your source for this?

How MANY timelines are there now???? What about Murray´s account of the various times through the night that he medicated Michael.
This can´t be right.
