Dr. Murray

Lawyers Up

for Wrongful Death Suit

4/13/2010 10:00 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Conrad MurrayDr. Conrad Murray is already planning his legal strategy in a Michael Jackson wrongful death case ... TMZ has learned.

Dr. Murray, we're told, has already hired a civil lawyer, Charles Peckham, who handles medical board cases and wrongful death lawsuits.

We've learned Peckham has already been in touch with Dr. Murray's malpractice insurance carrier, and it turns out to be a tricky situation.

Sources connected with Dr. Murray's defense tell TMZ Dr. Murray had a malpractice policy issued in Texas that covered his medical practices in Texas and Nevada.

Here's the rub.  Dr. Murray did not have a medical practice in California, which is a prerequisite for his malpractice coverage.  So Dr. Murray's position is that he first saw  Michael Jackson as a Nevada patient and what he did for him in L.A. was merely an extension of the Nevada treatment.

We've learned the malpractice policy would only cover civil litigation, not criminal.  In the event the doctor is sued for wrongful death -- and Joe Jackson promises that will happen soon -- Murray expects the policy would cover attorney's fees and any judgment.

One source told TMZ, "We fully expect the insurance company would cover such costs."

KRAZY KOOKY KLOWN

CLARINET

The clarinet is a musical instrument in the woodwind family. The name derives from adding the suffix -et (meaning little) to the Italian word clarino (meaning a type of trumpet), as the first clarinets had a strident tone similar to that of a trumpet. The instrument has an approximately cylindrical bore, and uses a single reed. It is informally sometimes called the licorice stick.

Clarinets comprise a family of instruments of differing sizes and pitches. The clarinet family is the largest such woodwind family, with more than a dozen types, ranging from the BB♭ contrabass to the A♭ soprano. Of these, many are rare or obsolete, and music written for them is usually played on the common types. The unmodified word clarinet usually refers to the B♭ soprano clarinet, by far the most popular clarinet.

A person who plays the clarinet is called a clarinetist or clarinettist. Johann Christoph Denner invented the clarinet in Germany around the turn of the 18th century by adding a register key to the earlier chalumeau. Over time, additional keywork and airtight pads were added to improve tone and playability. Today, the clarinet is used in jazz and classical ensembles, chamber groups and as a solo instrument.

Clarinet bodies have been made from a variety of materials including wood, plastic, hard rubber, metal, resin, and ivory. The vast majority of clarinets used by professional musicians are made from African hardwood, mpingo (African Blackwood) or grenadilla, rarely (because of diminishing supplies) Honduran rosewood and sometimes even cocobolo. Historically other woods, notably boxwood, were used.

The instrument uses a single reed made from the cane of Arundo donax, a type of grass. Reeds may also be manufactured from synthetic materials. The ligature fastens the reed to the mouthpiece. When air is blown through the opening between the reed and the mouthpiece facing, the reed vibrates and produces the instrument's sound.

66. MJ and his entourage would go through security just like any other superstar. (Diane Ross didn't like the system and she got banged up for slapping the security lady a Heathrow Airport, UK a few years ago).

Uri Gheller said he couldn't wake up MJ because he had taken something. MJ slept with his eyes shut. Uri would shake and and scream for MJ to wake up and MJ came around slowly, slurring his words. Uri would sleep in the same room as MJ to stop MJ's entourage giving him pills. Uri screamed at MJ and begged him to STOP taking whatever MJ insisted on taking??? This was way back in 2001 MJ was Uri's best man when Uri renewed his wedding vows. MJ also spoke at Oxford University about his difficult relationship with his father.

You sure Dr. Murray is a qualified legitimate Doctor? Murray's "SO INCOMPETENT, it's unreal and MJ hooks up with this idiot??? The world's still in shock that one of the greatest entertainer died in such a sad, tragic death. The UK mourned over MJ, one of our landmarks is missing, MJ has ALWAYS been in the UK background i.e. radio, tv, media and we were "SO EXCITED" about his UK comeback.

The question is will MJ receive JUSTICE in death???

Justice for MJ3!

Listen to others discussions, but respectfully keep an open mind and beLIEve in the facts and not media spin.

If Michael were still alive then who was the person identified as Michael Joseph Jackson by his California drivers license, and the next of kin is Katherine Jackson. The autopsy report took pictures of him, which have not been made public , but everything else is shown on the report. It has all the legal seals and signatures of the cornorer of Ca. Come on people let it go he is gone. Now if any of you fans are intested in seeing this trial on TV send a email to webmail@da.lacounty.gov click on contact us, and tell them why we should be able to see justice done for our brother Michael Jackson. I don't know if it will help but it's worth a try. I want to see this trial. I have already sent mine and I have spread the word on every site I know having to do with Michael. I hope you all will do the same. Public pressure is a powerful tool espeacially when Jerry Brown is going to be running for CA. governor. Good Luck my friends marson

This man is a FOOL and I cant't imagine how Michael got involved with him! No one will ever see a penny out of him. The malpractice insurance will fight the lawsuit, and Joe will die before anyone gets a penny. It needed to be done though as a message to bad doctors. If you don't know what you are doing then don't do it.

The likelihood is he had his eyebrows and lips tatooed because he had no pigmentation in his skin. I would agree. It was not vanity.

Depigmentation to correct a skin disorder was not about vanity but a for medicinal purposes.
