Kevin Eubanks Bails on Jay Leno

Jay Leno is in the market for someone to laugh at his jokes. 


Kevin Eubanks just announced he's leaving "The Tonight Show" -- and interestingly, he did it the same day Conan O'Brien announced he'll be going head-to-head with Jay.

Jay's band leader made his departure official during the taping of Monday night's episode.

Eubanks will keep jamming with the band until May 28.

He's leaving cause he can't laugh at anymore stupid lame attempts at laughter. Jay's whole act is just lame.

I never understood why Jay's Tonight Show band always play the same music beds when going to (and coming back from) commercials.



How boring.



At least every other late night talk show band plays different tunes with each show.

It's been reported ever since Jay returned to the Tonight Show that Kev would be leaving the show to go on tour with his band. No surprises here... just official confirmation of what's been known all along.

Shame on Kevin, he will be up sh#t creek without Jay, and all you "coco" fans, why is it ok for that dork to take George Lopez out of his time slot and it wasn't ok for Jay to go back to the Job, "Cucu I meant er.. coco" forced him out of? can you spell hypocrites??? in all seriousness Kevin couldn't sell heat in the north pole.
