'American Chopper' Son -- Out to Destroy Dad

4/15/2010 1:55 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

The oldest son from "American Chopper" has escalated the war against his father by opening up a rival motorcycle business -- and he's making the whole thing incredibly personal.

TMZ has learned Paul Teutul Jr. is starting a competing shop to go head-to-head with his dad's Orange County Choppers shop.

But here's the catch -- Junior has recruited a bunch of disgruntled employees who left his dad's place ... including his brother Mikey Teutul and friends Vinnie DiMartino, Robert "Nub" Collard and Joe Puliafico.

We're told Senior has no idea about the mutiny ... that is, until now.

He is the oldest but the one who owns the steel shop is the middle and Mikey is the youngest.

As far as people crying about they are losing his father blah blah blah.. That have gone to real good professionals to help and SR is wacked out. He replaces anger for all the drugs he used to do.

Whatever happened to that Biker Build-Off show a couple of years ago? It was a way better show that pitted different chopper builders against each other and the fans voted for the best bike at the end of the program. Much better than the whining Teutul show.

You are so right. It was the same thing each week, it got stupid.

But....the old man is a ****. He was always the tough guy. I wanted to staple things to his head every time he spoke or threw a fit like a baby!

To the men out there, there is nothing worse than tough guy personality. Its a HUGE turnoff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The father started this, and the son has to eat. People will decide who does better work.

I thought that is what Paul Jr. Designs was. Anyway, I'll bet TLC had a hand in this since it will make for more exciting TV to have them go head to head on bike builds.

Sweet! Pauly, Mikey and Vinnie back together again! IF they would just focus on actually building bikes and none of the other nonsense it would make a good show, like American Chopper was in the beginning before all the reality TV bull**** displaced the bike building.

So whatever happened to Vinnie's V-Force customs bike shop and whats-his-name, the Wesley Crusher dude he took with him when he left OCC? If V force is dead i figured he'd be along for the ride at Pauly's new shop too.

Paul sr. is too much of a **** to work for. Can't fault Jr. for telling him to go F himself and becoming his own man.

Just for the record, Paul Jr. isn't the oldest son in the Teutul family . . . there is one older brother Daniel.

neither of these people have any talent. their bikes arent anything special, and anyone whos seen jr's designs (for the firm he started after he left occ) will know its laughable. these 2 should get back together again and be thankful theyve become rich off of their mediocrity.

good for him...I hope he teaches his father a lesson. If you have ever watched the show....the father has no respect for his son and talks to him like he is a stranger on the street. His father is a bully and I hope he gets a big dose of Karma. Good luck to you Paul Jr.

I think that this is CRAZY!!! It sound like Sr is gonna just toss his sons to the CURB because of MONEY, which the whole damn family has plenty of! Come on guys.......get it together. SR has been fortunate that his kids have gotten over the crap he put them thru (when they were little) due to his drinking. Someone needs to elvaluate HIMSELF!! He really does seem like a very stubborn person.
