Lots of people have careers as celebrity impersonators. There is good money in it. Most people are bright enough to realize that Brad Pitt isn't really attending Cousin Howard's Bar Mitzvah!

The man does strongly resemble Colin Farrell. This could have happened even if he was in another career. All it took was someone saying they saw Colin Farrell in a club and the paps went nuts.

The fault lies with the London rags that all decided that they just had to be the first ones to post the photos. Post first....fact check later.

I say BullS%#@t, this guy was looking for publicity and from the looks of his Facebook page its not like he is shying away from taking on a persona not his own and it seems the lie went too far the night in question and now he's sorry. Give me a break, I'm sure as long as the attention was positive all was okay, as soon as it turned negative he has a change of heart, right. I'm sure he realiazed that the lie went too far once paparazzi showed up or were already there. On his Facebook page, photos of him in a VIP section of a club doesn't exactly appear as if he is not taking adavantage of being perceived as Colin. I think he is full of it and realizes he's been busted so he is sorry now. No one to blame but his own dumb ass antics in taking on someone elses persona.

Your friend may have noticed the lack of tatoos especially the big cross on his left forearm, example photo of James Martin, the Colin Farrell Lookalike in a t-shirt (NO TATOO) also she might notice when entering a search on Google "James Martin Colin Farrell Lookalike and Impersonator" that this guy, James Martin, the impersonator has a Facebook page dedicated to his job as a (wait for it) Colin Farrell impersonator. Ta Dah, your friend, like TMZ and countless other news outlets have been HAD. Take a peak and tell your friend to do so too, hope she didn't go home with him.

If one is a celeb impersonator, of course they are looking for publicity. Are you thick? You need to calm down.

Yes looking for publicity as an impersonator is one thing but claiming to be that someone else is all together different, and if you take a look at this guys Facebook page he is signing autographs in some photos. I may be a little off here but help me out cause I'm sure he's not signing "James Martin, A Colin Farrell look alike" as his autograph and all the photos he has of people around him, something tells me he is not saying, "hey nice to meet you, my name is James Martin, I'm a Colin Farrell look alike" so yeah publicity as an impersonator as in revealing your not who people may mistake you for but actually an impersonator and not imposter-someone who identifies themselves as someone else when they are not, different things really as a matter of course but I'm just saying, are you Thick?

You'd have to find someone who's met James Martin and ask what he signs.

All I say is, there are loads of celeb impersonators across the globe and the well-known or really good ones get VIP treatment because it's all in good fun for, let's say, the club (unless said impersonator is doing dirty deeds with their likeness). There was a well-known Paris Hilton impersonator who'd get into all the hot clubs in LA! No one freaked out about it. Until someone steps up and says James Martin says he's Farrell and misleads women or something like that, then relax. Someone trying to T-R-U-L-Y pass themself off as Farrell wouldn't publicize it with a Facebook page, but try their hardest to hide the fact they are a lookalike. If these gossip sites paid any attention at all, there was a photo of James without his jacket and Farrell's tats were clearly missing. Colin won't lose any sleep over this mediocre incident and so people need to chill out. It was cleared up pretty quickly (hours after it hit the web) and any site maintaining their "Farrell's Drunken Brawl" heading are doing so because they are a ****e website to begin with and it's not the impersonator's fault at all. TMZ fixed their story headline lickety split. Anyone who didn't should get a call from his publicist to fix the headline or else because everyone knew it wasn't Colin the same day the story broke. In haste they ran it to be the first with the photos but by now all should be amended. Colin wouldn't have lost any contracts over a scuffle if it were true and he probably had a laugh over it anyway. He's easy going in that way.

Why dont you ask post # 54 it seems her friend the dancer at the club met "The Real" Colin Farrell, had her photo taken with him, ooops that was James Martrin, my mistake, or maybe just maybe he introduces himself as (wait for it) Colin Farrell, "The Real" one. I'm pretty sure that goes for autographs unless he suddenly shifts from being Colin in photos and not in print that is.

Oh I see, its the fault of all the press and the paps and not James Martin who had an earlier comment on his Facebook page that read "I and Colin are both victims of the Media", not really. I think that when you say you are someone and you are not that someone than you run the risk of being caught as is the case here. After it happened this imbicile didn't go out of his way to clear things up, he's a victim of his own stupidity and embelishing a lie and not a victim of anything else. I guess since his wallet has been stolen he's lost all his Identification, maybe now he can start by reclaiming a new ID under his real name possibly and maybe take on a dose of responsibility, James Martin.
