Michael to Lindsay: I'll Stop at Nothing

Here's what I think... I think Lindsay def needs help but I don't think that Michael Lohan is doing things for that reason. I think he may want her to get help but I think it's more about him... HE has to be the one to get her the help... like a stab to Lindsay's mom for not doing it or just to get credit. Seriously dude, do the right thing!!! You can't force your daughter to get help!! You can stick her in rehab but unless she wants to change she won't!!! And is it necessary to make it all so public if all you want is for your daughter to get help???

And Lindsay, seriously girlfriend... get some help!!! If you don't think you need it then go anyway and prove to everyone that you don't!!

Her life is such drama... I don't know how she wouldn't need it!

This family wouldn't know a 'normal' life if it came out and bit them. They all seek attention constantly and don't care about anyone but themselves...if they loved each other they would keep all their crap out of the news.

Unfortunately, this is what happens when parents rely on the CHILD to carry the family(financially). This is exactly what Lindsey has done for them, for years. Mom and dad become afraid the be "Mom and Dad" anymore and are their child's FRIEND instead. BIG MISTAKE. You MUST give children boundaries, and clearly this is where this family went wrong. The saddest part of all, is that Lindsey and Allie are the one's paying for it... They ALL need help as far as I'm concerned.

Someone needs to do something about getting Lindsay into some sort of treatment. Her mother is a dopey idiot. If that was my daughter, you best be sure I'd be doing everything & anything to get her help. Good on the Father for doing the right thing for his daughter.

Im glad to hear that! I dont think Lindseys mother will help her, so its up to him. The mom seems to be ok with it all because she likes the hoolywood life and uses her daughter to get herself on tv and all that.at least when we hear about the dad, its cause he is trying to save his daughter. stay on top of it...

Lindsay's ****ing up but he doesn't have a right to force her not to, it's not like she's a minor. His ridiculous antics though, that would drive the most stable and well-adjusted of people to suicide.

Typical American culture; villify and blame the father. Dina Lohan, one of the millions of "single moms" (usually by their choice) who steals the fathers income through the courts via "child support." Better known as single mom's welfare support at the expense of dad, steals the house and the children then play's the "victim." "Woe is me, I'm just a "signle mom."" Better known as child support mom by choice, because it pays dearly.

The most disgusting part is how general public and the press panders to this vile garbage and thereby places these "single moms" on a pedastool and worships them. They need to be singled out, humilitated and castigated (like dads unfairly are now), NOT honored and revered like they currently are.

Think about the idiocy regarding how single moms by choice are treated by society; these women "steal" hundreds and in some cases thousands and tens of thousands of dollars per month of a father's net income (that he must pay the tax on), steal the house, and most despicably, steal his children and thereby turn him into a "paying visitor" of his own children. Many fathers have been bankrupted and jailed (after losing jobs thru no fault of their own) because they "couldn't" pay their monthly extortion amounts (just because it's legal, doesn't mean it's right), live in homeless camps or cars or with friends and family because they're without enough of their "own" money to support themselves. And what does society do? "Awe, these poor single moms have it so rough.." That mindset is nothing short of diabolical.

What does single "super-mom" Dina Lohan have to say? "Dina Lohan, who did not join in the news conference, tells TMZ that Lindsay is "fine."" Brilliant, keep living in denial there Dina, and while your at it, keeping putting your youngest's life at risk by allowing her to live with that trainwreck of a life, Lindsay. Then, blame Michael when one or both of them is dead.

Wake up America, it doesn't take a social scientist to figure out that our morally debased "me-me-me" society is due to a lack of fathers in our children's life. Not by our choice, but by the "single mom by choice" choices. So thank a single mom "by choice" mom for what we're living in today. For the record, these comments ARE NOT directed at those single moms who divorced for legitimate reasons.

For all the things you can bash this guy for, he has a damn point. It's freaking obvious Lindsay is out of control. She has too much power and leverage for him to do this "privately". Desperate times call for desperate measures, I actually think if I was in the same situation too, I would go to the media first as well. Lindsay is living a life of entitlement, "private matters" won't solve anything at this point.
