But he did show the world that a black man can play golf and play it well. He probably indirectly or directly influences and/or influenced the career paths of millions of young kids who look up to him as an excellent athlete. Not just in golf of course, but showing what is possible if you believe in anything you want to do...
So I wouldn't discount him so flippantly just based on his affairs. That does not take anything away from the fact that he is one of the top in the world in his profession and his influence on others (despite the negative sides).
