I love Aretha... but she needs a bra... in a major kind of way.

She should be the poster woman for "un-happy people". She always looks miserable. She is a very unhappy person, you can just see it in every picture she takes.

Number 1: Ms. Franklin's wearing the same dress, to two appearances, is called "practical". She probably flew to New York, with ONE bag. (I went to Europe, last January, and carried ONE carryon. Nothing to "check", and get lost, by the airline!)

Number 2: Hairpieces are easier to roll-up, and pack, than evening gowns.

Number 3: Ms. Franklin's talents are LEGENDARY! And, for all the people, writing on this blog, who truly ARE "UGLY"...with no skills to speak of...please remember that Aretha Franklin has forgotten more than you, or the sad ho's, who "sing", these days, will know, on your best day! She is timeless. She is ageless. She can still "holla". And, the world agrees that she will always be an extraordinarily gifted individual.

Number 4: What's YOUR "claim-to-fame"?

First of all, Aretha does not fly. She is afraid of flying. So she takes the train or a tour bus to her destinations.

Second of all, the diva CAN do whatever she wants. I still can't believe she stepped in for Pavoratti and sang "Nessa Dorma" at whatever award show it was. Not only does she deserve RESPECT in English, but Italian too!

(...and, what is a "pocketbook"?) If Ms. Franklin was appearing, onstage, and had no one accompanying her...she obviously wouldn't leave her HANDBAG...backstage...at the APOLLO, or any other venue.

I think "Betty White" wore the same black and white outfit on the "View" and "Good Morning America" this week :0)
