During college I waited tables at a restaurant in Pasadena. The Christopher family were pretty regular customers. I will never forget how calm and loving both parents were with their son. I believe his name was Ned. I remember thinking that I hoped I could someday be a fantastic parent as they both seemed to be.

He looks terrific.
I thought his character on MASH was terribly unimpressive, but I assume that's the way the writers wanted it.
