NBC Anchor Drops 'WTF' Bomb on Live TV

7/8/2010 2:10 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

An NBC news anchor in L.A. was so pissed off this morning about an on-air mix-up -- that he turned to his crew and mouthed the words, "What the f*ck?!" ... on LIVE television!

It all went down when Chris Schauble started reading a report about Jaycee Dugard, the woman who was kidnapped and held for 18 years.

Problem is ... the production crew ran a video showing Abby Sunderland -- the teenage sailor who went missing for just a couple of days.

Schauble was furious -- check out the footage to see his reaction.

NBC L.A. tells TMZ: "This morning one of our morning anchors mouthed an inappropriate word on air.  It was inadvertent and we regret the error."

Maybe NBC should hire Mel Gibson. First they replace Jennifer Bjorklund who absolutely knows how to report the news, with Alycia Lane, who has no personality whatsoever and just reads the script...boring! Interesting they had to bring Kathy Vara in, who I like and is a seasoned reporter to balance all this. Well at least there are other local channels and there is MSNBC...hope to see Chris soon.

Although I don't agree with cursing I think it was a slip he regretted. I noticed he is no longer on NBC morning news was it because of that mistake? He is an excellent news caster and I have to say that since he is no longer on your program I no longer in tune in to your morning news. It is truly hard to listen to three woman who are always making the traffic news guy look like a fool, he set's himself up all the time, so the only one that displayed any professionalism is gone. Bad mistake he made, but bigger one made by you by losing him.

God does not want us to use profanity. It is the responsibility of adults to sensor vulgar language and videos from society. It does not glorify God when He hears profanity or when people choose to watch porn. All people of all ages must make the right decision to 'be of the world but not of it'. May God have mercy on the souls of the adults who allow profanity, adult films, strip clups, binge drinking, prostitution, drug and alcohol abuse into their lives.
