My friend is Mickey Spillane's grandson. Mickey was a mobster, not an author, from Hell's Kitchen. He was very famous at the time and is featured in Mafia Wars and other Mobster Video Games.
Michael Spillane, my friend's dad was going to meet his brother, Bobby at his apartment in Hell's Kitchen and Bobby was shouting out of the 6th story window to him. He had his arm in a sling at the time and (this is where the speculation comes in) lost his balance most likely. This was a very tragic incident especially for my friend's dad to witness with his own eyes.
It has been almost a year now and is still being ruled an accident.
