TMZ has learned Oksana Grigorieva just went to the law offices of an attorney -- a former federal prosecutor who specializes in computer crimes -- considered one of the foremost authorities on Internet crimes.
The attorney -- James Spertus -- practices in West Los Angeles. Oksana is in his office right now.
It's interesting ... because sources tell TMZ Mel Gibson's lawyers have told the Sheriff's Department that they have evidence someone tampered with the tapes and they want Oksana investigated.
Spertus has lectured FBI agents and prosecutors on prosecuting intellectual property crimes. He is the founding member of the Computer Crimes and Intellectual Property Section of the United States
Department of Justice.
We spoke with Spertus, who would not comment about Oksana.
On her way in, Oksana said she never tried to extort Mel Gibson.
UPDATE: Sources connected with Oksana tell us she has been advised to make a copy of her hard drive in the event the Sheriff's Department seizes her laptop in connection with the criminal investigation.

She went to the attorney because while they were still living together, Mel was allegely writing emails to himself from her personal laptop, to make it look like she's extorting the money.
I'm glad it will come out one way or another if she lied. Frankly, this whole thing reeks of extortion but I'm curious what they'll eventually find (or not find) on her.

We're fighting two wars, our economy is in the toilet, but no, let's see where Oksana went today. It is pretty ridiulous. I find this stuff interesting to the extent that it deals with two issues I care about... mental illness and domestic abuse. But here, the interest seems to lie with celebrity.
She claims her two month old infant was punched in the face and her 12 year old son almost murdered at gunpoint on January 6th.
After her daring barefoot escape, in the middle of he night, the infant was not taken to the ER and no police were not called.

I won't feel satisfied until this golddigging Russian b!tch is behind bars. She should spend the rest of her natural life in prison. And afterwards, go directly to hell.

there's not a shred of original equipment on oink$ana so i don't think she's got any natural life left in her.
She's meeting with the expert to find out what kind of testing can be done on the texts to prove that they are fake/manipulated and then she will "leak" her next bit of information to plug those holes.
