Lindsay Lohan -- Booked Again

7/28/2010 7:00 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Lindsay Lohan, you've got mail.

0910_media_removed_Lindsay_Lohan1

LiLo's latest visitor wasn't a family member or a lawyer ...  it was the UPS guy who delivered her several packages from Amazon.com today.

Although it's unclear what Inmate # 2409752 actually received, having books shipped is about the only way to get reading materials into the clink.

I guess UPS doesn't send their Diet Coke break men to a womens jail. Wonder why? Seriously remember the UPS guy in the commercial who was soooo hot? Maybe this is him 15 years later.

Good for her. Have some good clean fun and do some productive reading in jail. Can't fault her for wanting to do that.

Spot at #31: Just google lynwood correctional facility and you'll see all the rules on what can be received and what can't be received. Max 3 books and 3 mags per week, have to be shipped direct from the bookstore or publisher. Guess War and Peace would be a good choice... But I think they have a library service, didn't check to see if there is any info online about that.

Restrictions on mail (how many letters at a time, give them back to get more) undoubtedly are related to the fact that all letters have to be read before they are given to the prisoner. That's a lot of staff time for so many people. There are restrictions on what you can enclose in a letter also. For instance, no extra postage stamps ever since somebody figured out how to put drugs on the sticky side... All such rules in a jail or prison are related to such issues, avoiding contraband basically as well as avoiding problems when people are sharing cells and so have limited personal space. The high profile folk don't usually share cells, but there are some other oddities. Lindsay would have trouble finding her bed if she actually received all her mail at once, apparently.... I don't know how real friends and family get past that obstacle caused by the fame or infamy of the prisoner. Hope poor Lindsay didn't end up with 3 copies of The Old Man and the Sea from a stack ordered by well-intentioned but naive fans!

He's gotta be a pap in disguise - a real UPS guy would have just dropped the things on the front step without telling anyone they were there.

OH, one other thing: for other people getting tired of these conspiracy nuts flogging their "Obama Deception" spam, feel free to follow their post up with this link: Salon (slightly more reputable than the bevy of youTube clips composed by some nut hiding in a trailer somewhere) has put together a really, really good de-bunking of it all. There's even a link to the paper that posted the birth notice submitted by the State of Hawaii's Dept. of Health. Share the facts: it's the only way to shut these Truther idiots up:

Some of you are so insensitive. I doubt many of you would fare so well in Lindsay's shoes.

She's making the best of a totally unfair situation, and is poised to make a giant comeback when she gets out. She's definitely a class act.

Go Lindsay! We're believe in you!!!

Uh

A picture of a supposed UPS man ? All of you morons assume he is delivering packages to Lindsay. Did it ever occur to you the picture has nothing to do with Lindsay's incarceration? Oh well, their would be no TMZ without you.

Perhaps she's reading one of my favorites, "How Hormones Make Whores Moan" by Chap Lips.

My guess is the "books" LL received were Pop Up books & Tunnel books. She probably got trash magazines also.

As if LL is reading War & Peace!

Are they allowed to order things from Amazon in jail or are they turning the other cheek for her because shes famous? If its the latter then shame on our legal system..
