Sources connected with the "American Idol" negotiations tell TMZ Kara DioGuardi has judged her last contestant on "American Idol" -- because she's been fired. 
We're told the show will be going back to a three-judge format and assuming all deals are finalized, the judge's panel will consist of Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler.
We're told the only way Kara could get a reprieve is if the J-Lo deal falls apart -- but we're told that deal is done.
Ellen DeGeneres announced earlier Thursday that she was leaving the show after just one season.

3 judges is a good move, J-Ho over Kara...BAD MOVE...Kara is a super talented song writer and composer,and has way more music experience than J-Ho...I think if you put the best "music industry" people on the panel it gives the show more merit. But on the flip side J-ho is better looking than Kara and I can understand the producers needing a pretty face with Steven Tyler sitting up there...I'm just say'n...Oh and as for Ellen stepping down...I think it's one of the best moves she ever makes...!!!!

JLO oh No. Send her back to her twins and husband. Steven Tyler? I would not want to look at him on the show all the time. Thats just as bad as if they picked Mick Jagger. What happened with the guy that was on Celebrity Apprentice. He would have been a better choice probably still not the right choice. Hey what about Jon Bon Jovi?

Oh crap! I did not like Kara on AI, but I will not watch that annoying Jennifer Lopez. Her voice is so annoying and she cannot act. Why in the heck is she going on American Idol? All her movies are flops.
