MJ Mausoleum -- Who's Ready for Yoga?!

8/3/2010 10:35 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

MJ's mausoleum is about to be penetrated by a busload of hardcore Yoga enthusiasts ... and TMZ has learned Forest Lawn is welcoming them with open arms.

0910_media_removed_Lindsay_Lohan1
According to sources at the cemetery, the followers of Paramahansa Yogananda (pictured top right) -- a famous Indian guru and yogi who died almost 60 years ago -- plan to visit their master's crypt today for a prayer ritual ... and his crypt happens to be inside the same mausoleum where MJ resides.

The problem -- the Great Mausoleum has been on lockdown mode for months -- thanks to some overzealous MJ fans -- with the cemetery threatening to remove Jacko-holics by force if they're caught anywhere near the building.

But we're told since Yogananda's followers have been doing their prayer thing in the mausoleum for years -- and have never caused a problem -- they're cool to enter the area.

However, according to our sources, MJ's tomb will be covered with a screen during the spiritual visit -- and get this ... it's all because security is afraid a few crazed MJ fans could pose as yoga enthusiasts ... just to sneak into the mausoleum.

Namaste.

i thought people were not allowed into the mausoleum? didn't w.c.fields grandson complain about letting michael's fans in? it would not be right to let some fans in for this yogi and not michael's fans. doesn't seem right to me.

W.C. Field¨s grandchild has stated that it was OK with him that there were a lot of MJ fans. It was Clark Gable`s grandson who complained.

Michael doesn´t belong there in my opinion. He needs to be in a more unique place, where his mega-status doesn´t clash with other people´s burial places. I have expressed my feelings about it earlier. He should be somewhere beautiful, outside under the sun and the moon.
He does have many fans and will for decades to come. You can´t change that fact and everyone can see the trouble it is causing at Forest Lawn.
It is not fair to Michael, his memory, his family. But also not to other people buried there.

I'm a huge michael jackson fan, but i dnt think he should have been buried in a place like this, He was such a great historic human being, so obviously all these fans r gonna come, he should of have been buried in a semi public place like martin luther king nd jfk.

Joyful

I was there last year for the church service and time at the crypt. It was a very uplifting and peaceful experience. What a wonderful group of loving, joyful people.

"MJ fans are the rot of modern society". Really Ehécatl? You must not get out much. So much pretentious venom

You know what's funny besides you, are the hoardes of no life morons who take the time to read MJ articles and then post some vulgar and ignorant comment. What a miserable life you all must lead; to carry on with your idiocy masquerading as humor simply because you don't know any better.

Last week I was driving to Michigan and thought WTF... so I pulled off the freeway in Gry, Indiana and drove 3-4 blocks to 2300 Jackson Street and there I was.

MIKA JACKSON'S childhood home!!!

Let me tell you folks... it is IN THE GHETTO, but there are always tourists in the area. I was nice to the tourists... they were nice to me, but the locals??? They were mean and ugly and wanted nuthin to do with whitey driving down their street.

Anyway.

I still recommend it. The house is in perfect condition and there is a beautiful memorial in the front yard.

And I don't even like Mika Jackson.

Hi Siggisis,
so true: All this trouble has been predictable, hasn’t it?
Of course I understand the family’s intention to create a peaceful, noble and beautiful last resting-place for Michael; a place where he would finally be safe from the crowds running after him.
I just doubt that this is what Michael had wanted.
He has suffered from his overwhelming popularity, yes, but at the same time he has so much enjoyed all the attention given by his fans! It’s irrational, I know, but I hate him being so alone now at FL, buried under tons of white, cold stone, so far away from where live is.
Some weeks ago Harvey suggested to take Michael to Las Vegas and build a place for him where he would be surrounded by lots of memorabilia (changing from time to time), and where his fans could visit him for a fee. The complete opposite of FL, way too spectacular, and without any dignity – I know. But there is a little, just a little grain of truth in Harvey’s idea. A public resting-place would be far more what Michael had liked – and, as long as permanently guarded and with controlled (!) access for fans, had avoided a lot of the trouble we must watch at FL.

BTW: What's the matter with TMZ? AGAIN a nice Michael-picture? Just hope that nobody will lose his job because of that, lol!

Feel free to stay clear of MJ fans. It`s easy! I don´t understand your whining. You CHOOSE to spend most of your waking hours in the company of Michael fans. What´s up with that???
If you stay away from all MJ related material/sites, where his fans ARE, you can rest assured that none of them/us will come ringing your doorbell. No "huge dark swarms of ravenous locusts." HUH, how about that?

I completely agree with you. I can't help but think that Michael wouldn't have wanted to be all alone in a cold crypt. He would have wanted people surrounding him with love. I went to Forest Lawn to pay my respects, I looked in the window, but felt uncomfortable and left quickly. It's a beautiful place, but it just doesn't feel right to imagine him in there.

And TMZ, another gorgeous photo of Michael? What is going on? Is it because Harvey's away? Michael was sure a beautiful man. Love you and miss you MJ.

Nice MJ photo TMZ....
look at those rosy cheeks and lips on the lad!....blusher/lip gloss? (how many black men do YOU know with rosy cheeks and lips? lol)
and those 2 nose jobs (so far) on Michael Jackson face..so fetching!
And the wig! (maybe his 1st or 2nd one in a yet to be horde of them?)...so flattering.
Michael Jackson was born with kinky Afro hair. Not silken locks.
lmao....

Beautiful photo of PYogananda.
Now HE was Christlike, in appearance and actions.
Quote:
"You are walking on the earth as in a dream. Our world is a dream within a dream; you must realize that to find God is the only goal, the only purpose, for which you are here. For Him alone you exist. Him you must find." - Paramahansa Yogananda

It surprises me that Forest Lawn (for any amount of money) would have even considered entombing Michael Jackson in the same building....

TMZ...you should have used a photo of Michael Jackson....
biting down on his lower lip, hunching and grabbing his crotch (like a rabid dog in heat! lol)...clad in his "gold pants".
lmao.....

Tellit, if you already call people “rabid” who do nothing worse than to consider Michael Jackson as a “historical person” – what adjective would, in your opinion, then be appropriate for those who articulate hate and swearwords?

It’s really getting weirder and weirder here.

The same with:

For all the arrogant people who think they know MJ is dead, you have to check it out for yourself.

What happened, Tellit? Didn't you always talk about yourself as a "Michael Jackson rationalist"? Seems you have crossed the borderline to be a pretty passionate hater now.
