MJ Mausoleum -- Who's Ready for Yoga?!

8/3/2010 10:35 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

MJ's mausoleum is about to be penetrated by a busload of hardcore Yoga enthusiasts ... and TMZ has learned Forest Lawn is welcoming them with open arms.

0910_media_removed_Lindsay_Lohan1
According to sources at the cemetery, the followers of Paramahansa Yogananda (pictured top right) -- a famous Indian guru and yogi who died almost 60 years ago -- plan to visit their master's crypt today for a prayer ritual ... and his crypt happens to be inside the same mausoleum where MJ resides.

The problem -- the Great Mausoleum has been on lockdown mode for months -- thanks to some overzealous MJ fans -- with the cemetery threatening to remove Jacko-holics by force if they're caught anywhere near the building.

But we're told since Yogananda's followers have been doing their prayer thing in the mausoleum for years -- and have never caused a problem -- they're cool to enter the area.

However, according to our sources, MJ's tomb will be covered with a screen during the spiritual visit -- and get this ... it's all because security is afraid a few crazed MJ fans could pose as yoga enthusiasts ... just to sneak into the mausoleum.

Namaste.

@ Fred Farkel ~ I agree with your assessment of Gary, Indiana. It may be rich in history, as some people say, but I for one would be frightened to death to visit Michael’s childhood home. From what I’ve heard the gang violence alone would be enough of a reason to not go near the place. The last time I drove from Indy to Chicago there was nothing but empty dilapidated buildings left from the steel factories. Broken windows and cracked pavement/parking lots with weeds growing through. And Joe wants to bring in a museum and such for a Memorial for Michael? It might be a shot in the arm for that area however it would take years and millions of $$ just to get it up and running.

53. Tellit, if you already call people “rabid” who do nothing worse than to consider Michael Jackson as a “historical person” – what adjective would, in your opinion, then be appropriate for those who articulate hate and swearwords.....?

__________

rab·id [rábbid]
adj
1. fanatical: very enthusiastic about an idea, belief, or activity, often to the point of being blind to other opinions, beliefs, or preferences
2. intense: feeling or showing an emotion or need extremely intensely
a rabid lust for power

I don't "hate" Michael Jackson.....
I find his life humorous and pathetic (a circus sideshow), his music little more than mediocre,.....
I am a rationist....
Michael Jackson was a con artist/manipulator...and a thief...
all his life...
and still is.

He's given you loyal, desolate, grieving rabidfans a royal f'ing...
and you deserve every blessed second of it.
lol..

I really can't think of many places you could feasibly place Michael's body and have it be safe from grave robbers. I think the family chose FL mainly because of the security that is in place around the clock. If fans are getting in and writing on the walls at FL, imagine what they'd do if Michael was someplace "under the sun and moon". The family is probably afraid someone would try to steal the body, and I don't blame them. I think that would be a legit fear.

To be fair, Michael really did leave his family in a hell of a quandry. Maybe he did it on purpose, who knows? But he knew who he was and what he meant to people. It's likely he knew that he would not live a normal lifespan. He must have known the kind of reaction his death would bring. He made a will and outlined where he wanted his children place and how he wanted his fortune used. Yet he failed to indicate where he wanted to be buried. He said he never wanted to go back to Neverland, so I don't know how the family could put him there in death and be comfortable with it. What kinds of choices do they have left? If it's true that Michael would not want to be in the crypt at FL, then why wasn't he more specific in his will about where he did want to be? He left it up to his family and they made a decision. I think fans should respect that. I also think the best thing to do would be to build a memorial away from the cemetery so fans can have a place to gather.

Wrong, Tellit.
You know what I tell my kids all the time? "Don't EVER generalize!"
Don't ever say THE people from USA/Italy/Turkey, don't ever say THE pupils from the other school, don't ever say THE fans of the opposite soccer team.
Do ALWAYS differentiate. There are nice or ugly, tolerant or fanatical folks among all nations, among all groups of people.
It seems necessary to direct your attention on the fact that is valid as well for MJ-fans, and that you should never talk about THE MJ-fans.
I, for my part, am a fan. But I, for my part, have never called YOU a termite coming out of the woodwork, squishing out some maggots.
So, what does that tell us?

So, what does that tell us?

I would like to say what it tells me. It tells me that Yellit (it was a typo, but I´ll leave it - too funny to correct) thinks that there is one set of rules for her and another for everybody else here.
She thinks can spew insults all day long. Direct insults or indirect by writing vile, yukky posts about Michael Jackson - she does that to hurt. But as soon as people react to those hurtful posts, she shouts: Stop stalking me. Or: I´ll fax to TMZ (fax???).

My opinion. Going into ignore mode (again.)
