Lindsay Lohan Released from Jail -- Out of Jail

She should have stayed the entire 90 days. She's never going to take this garbage seriously and why should she? Big deal. Two weeks and a million visits. How long each day was she really in her cell having to face herself and why she was there? 2 mins? BFD.

14 Days. What a F'ing joke that is. Her followers act like she was in Corcoran. She has learned nothing in 2 weeks. Hope to see her ODed in 91 days after a binge.

After two weeks in jail, I'll be she had hairy legs and a porcupine in her shorts!!

If you're going to comment, please get your facts straight. The judge stated she could do nothing about when Lindsay would get out of jail, all she had control of was giving her 90 days. It was the Sheriff that let her off early. And Christoffe the hairdresser was at the JAIL 1 1/2 hours prior to them releasing her (not at UCLA). This is standard procedure, if you can afford it and ask for it.

They both had dominent parents who did a poor job for them.
They both committed a traffic offense and was put on probation.
They both did not honor the probation conditions.
They both ended in jail for a short time and then to treatment
They both suffered from treatment for a problem they didn't acknowledge

Will Lohan be as damaged as Farmer? I cannot tell right now, but the treatment industry is not that improved compared to the 1950's. There are still religious elements in the 12 steps programs and modern treatment of drug problems among young adults is based on method used by a church called Synanon which was shut down by the FBI and IRS.

If she buys into the treatment it could very much reduce her career to daytime television or hosting a TV-show.

sadly once a judge passes the sentence, they have no control over how long the jails actually keep the individuals incarcerated due to overcrowding/credit for time served/time off for good behaviour-whatever

only higher taxes will help to build/staff more jails/prisons in order to achieve more truth in sentencing-so they serve the sentence they were given

and nobody wants to pay higher taxes so it is a "catch 22" as they say

Why is everyone surprised that she didn't spend the 90 days in jail? Practically everyone admitted she was going to spend at most 30 days (which would be the normal sentence for a parole violation). When they added various things in and factored in that the prison was overcrowded and she was NOT a violent offender (she was not convicted of murder, assault, battery, armed robbery, etc.) it became even more obvious she was getting out rather quick.

She cannot leave the rehab before its finished as this is court appointed. I believe she ends up back in jail and the cycle continues until she successfully completes the rehab program (which is what she actually needs, people to help her work through her issues).

And anyone with a bit of fame is generally kept out of the general population for fear of fame seekers doing them harm as well as harming others in their attempt to injure the famous party.

Sad that people are baying for blood when none was spilled. Hope Lindsay can get the help and make the journey she needs to make and return triumphant.

Let us see sentence 90 days, will spend 23 days in custody and actual time behind bars less than 14 days. That seems about right for this washed up pill head. After a 90 day (forced) stay in rehab I am sure she will come out ready to conquer the world (not). As an earlier poster put it you have to want help for rehab to do any good. The only thing that will keep her clean after rehab is her probation (if that does), so what happens when that ends next year. Hint, RIP Ms Lohan. She is 24 I give her to 27 max before we read her obituary. Such a waste of a young life. Hope mom and dad are proud.

Honestly, who really gives a **** about these people! Don't ya have something better to do with your life then care what these celebrities are doing with their lives. She ruined her career, she'll be doing porn in the next 5 years. It is so sad seeing how much attention this girl gets for going to jail. How about you report the 32 Marines that died this past week fighting for our country. This site is ****ing joke!

Why is it that people who have everything continue to get away with everything. If that was you or me, we'd have to stay the full 90 days in jail. I am so tired of these selfish self-centered brats getting away with everything and getting multiple chances to get their act together. Where is the justice? It is no long "justice for all"!

i doubt she'll walk away, even after rehab, having learned anything from this. Its not right for the rest of us who would have had to serve the hole time......
