Method Man -- 'I'm Suing Those Motherf**kers'

8/18/2010 9:30 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Method Man is planning to drop a serious lawsuit on the "motherf**kers" responsible for the bloody wound he received while performing at the Gathering of the Juggalos this past weekend ... because as everyone knows ... Wu Tang Clan ain't nothin' to eff with.

TMZ spoke with Meth -- who didn't specify exactly who he intends to sue ... but insisted that he's not messing around.

Meth -- who continued to perform even after blood was dripping down his face -- also told us, "It's not OK ... I don't condone throwing things at the talent while they're performing."

As for why he kept going after he got hit, Meth said, "It takes a lot of heart and balls to continue performing after you've been hit in the face" and noted that continuing his show was the "right thing to do."

As we previously reported, Tila Tequila has also threatened legal action after she was nailed with some unidentified flying objects at the festival  -- thrown by fans of the Insane Clown Posse -- just a couple nights earlier.

It may sound stupid and funny reading about being hit by flying objects at a juggalos gathering, but there is nothing more infuriating than to be hit off guard when you really haven't done anything to provoke it. Even if the whole lot of them are stupid derelicts. I don't blame him or that Tila chick for being really mad. Good luck trying to prevail in suing them, though.

Whatever the reason's are for the crowd we are reading about, they should be sued and have this whole thing dis-banded from happening again. Why so much violence ? When did it become okay to attack performers, regardless of their talents.

The crowd of people who gathered for this show are ignorant rednecks. If a ticket purchase was required to attend, they need to find out who attended and haul their butts into the police station too ! To much violence ! It has to end ! It's never okay to be violent under any cir***stances..EVER !

Hmmmm

A "warning" means nothing legally. Tila and Method Man are guilty of nothing. Whoever bloodied them is. I once warned a man that if he didn't stop what he was doing I was going to beat him. He didn't stop so I beat him. I still did 30 days for assault and battery although I warned him. I found out in court that "warnings" about possible bodily harm are meaningless legally. Although you can say that Tila and Method Man should have heeded the warnings and not performed it's ignorant to say that, since they still performed, they, legally, are responsible for what happened and "deserved it". There isn't a court in the country that would support that. I know because I've been there and done that.

He could very well win, but what's the point? He's just going to blow the money on drugs and shiny nick nacks like spinning hubcaps.

Good for him - sue the IDIOTS. Why shouldn't you get paid for damages, etc. If the shoe was reverse - his arse would be getting sued up the freaking CREEK.

Hey Hutch - its not our business to worry about what you spend your money on - right? Stop stereotyping the man because he's black. Every rapper is not on drugs - just like every rock star is not on drugs - OR are they? Yeah they Rock Stars - they are ALL on drugs for sure. See how it works?

Exactly. You well know what ICP events are like. You have been warned in one way or another as to what it's like and knowing this you choose not to attend. Should people throw things? NO, it's childish. The fact remains, however, that performers are forewarned as to how violent GOTJ can get and year after year, many still show up. How does one explain how there are past performers who have shown up, after having been warned, to witness the violence inherent @ GOTJ and they don't cry like bitches and sue and those who are forewarned, show up and then cry and sue like little bitches?
