I knew the guy -- very safety conscious. I would be amazed if he wasn't wearing his seat belt. Apparently the Jeep was a rag-top and although I assume it had a rollbar, it probably got trashed on the rocks, as did his head on the way down. It was also a stick shift, which would make it unlikely he was holding a phone too, unless he had a third hand. As for everyone jumping on the sensational bandwagon of tweeting at the wheel -- no. He tweeted his last over 20 minutes before the crash.

I followed Dr. Ryan on Twitter. If you read his last tweet, it was typed while the dog was ON THE SAND, watching the water! Dr. Ryan was clearly NOT texting and driving. They were pulled off to the side. Then I presume Dr. Ryan left, lost control and went off the road. Do your research morons! The last tweet was only a photo of his Border Collie, Jill, watching the waves from the sand. And Dr. Ryan is out of the Jeep when he takes the photo. End of story.

I remember you saying on TMZ Live a while back that you wouldn't show photos of celebrities going into rehab because it was disrespectful - so why post pictures showing the immediate aftermath of a fatal car crash?

As for the photographer who took the photos and then sold them -what a ghoulish thing to do.

I feel very sorry for Dr. Ryan's family and friends.
