Rush is a Hard Rock band, not metal, plus they make it seem like hes isnt active or the band, just because a band is not on the spolight doesnt mean there not active
Geddy looks better NOW.

LOL! Whew....AMEN:) Ah well, I suppose Geddy get's a pass; afterall it was the 70/80's right around the time this was taken, right? :)
"today's Tom Sawyer he gets high on YOU,......". My favorite song by Rush! Woot! Always had to say though, they's some ugly boys!! Lol
@hot snot
Hey I bet ur a Justin Bieber fan....am I right? Am I right? Bet so.....lol. None of the bands around today will ever have the longevity that a lot of the bands from the 60's, 70's, and 80's have! The Stones, Aerosmith, Rush, Michael Jackson, just to name a few. There will never be any bands like them (or individuals like MJ). Back then, u had to have something called TALENT to be successful. And no one used auto tune.
Yeah...and ur nic says a lot about u! Kiddo! Lolol!
I'm listening to "Limelight" right now. One of my all time favorite songs! These guys rock! :)
RUSH ROCKS! One of the best rock bands ever. Geddy Lee has a voice of the Gods! One of the best rock and roll shows I have ever seen.
Calling Rush a '70s band is like calling Jodie Foster a child actor. They have been huge in every decade since the 70s.
So Geddy "resurfaced"?
Consider that in the past year or two:
- Rush was featured prominently in the movie "I Love You Man"
- Guitar Hero is rolling out a new version focused on 2112
- Rush recently got a star on the 'Walk of Fame' in Hollywood
- A new do***entary on Rush won an audience award at Tribeca this year
- Rush has never stopped playing arenas and large ampitheaters since the early 80's
May I ask what cave the supposed "in the know" folks at TMZ are living in???
"Memba Him?" Yeah, I remember buying tickets for this year's tour!
Yeah, Rush started out in the 70's, but they never stopped! What other band does TMZ know of that has retained the same lineup for 35+ years, weathered the musical trends of the last four decades, and is still outplaying bands half their age, with no drug problems, sex scandals, and the typical 'rock star' behavior?
You pansies at TMZ need to do some fact checking so you can at least seem like you know what you're talking about.
Instead of "Memba Him", it should be, "He's still here?"
