Oksana's Dentist Sticks With Original Story

Oksana Grigorieva's dentist is talking on camera for the first time -- sticking with his first version of events on January 6 between Mel Gibson and Oksana  -- that she was struck in the mouth AND the head.

Oksana's Dentist - Video
As we first reported, Oksana went to Dr. Ross Shelden the day after the blowup. Dr. Shelden signed a written declaration stating Oksana was struck in the mouth and the temple. But as we reported, he has also told another, conflicting story -- that Oksana was NOT struck in the mouth -- and there was no evidence of bruising consistent with a strike to the mouth. Dr. Shelden theorized Oksana was struck in the temple, which caused her to bite down hard which led to two veneers coming out.

In this video shot Thursday, Dr. Shelden -- who at first says he shouldn't comment -- says, "I think [Oksana's injuries] were definitely caused by a blow to the mouth and a blow to the head."

If Mel Gibson is charged with domestic violence, Dr. Shelden's inconsistent stories could damage his credibility as a witness.

Wow. I guess this guy is willing to lose his dentist license for Oksana. There is a "zero tolerance" rule in California for failing to report a possible domestic violence case to the police.

If he believes they were caused by a blow to the head, why did he fail in his duties to report it?

And why is he talking? Does he not realize that by doing so he is in violation of HIPAA regulations?

What's next? Is he going to spill on which patients have bad breath and which ones need fillings?

“ . . .since all licensed dental care providers in California are mandated reporters, the California Dental Association urges its members to become familiar with and report all physical signs of child abuse, child neglect, elder abuse, elder neglect and domestic violence that are observable in the normal course of the dental visit and report the suspected cases to the proper authorities."

Sort of makes you wonder where all the money is coming from for him to give up his practice.

A dentist is a mandated reporter. So if he didnt report this incident to the authorities then he should be in trouble with the Dental Board. So I don't think his opinion is worth a darn.

No violation of hippa if the patient gives the OK, dummy. TMZ, stop complicating and misrepresenting. It's not either/or, it's AND.

Doctor didn't report authorities about Oksa's case (he must do it in compliance with Law) and changes his stories like a weather****. He is like his patient (ha-ha) Remember Oksa's statement to ROL, when she got out the grocery "All tapes were made during one night!", her second PR agent left her before starting to work after that speech!! People!! Who would like to attend by that doctor????

and on another note if she did give permission to media - It must be signed by her and notarized. That would be a great do***ent for contempt of court charges.
