Eh, I think it looks awful, but Tom looks like he loves it, heh.
Hardly the worst outfit of the night/week/awards season/or millenium.

The waist is all wrong. It should have been higher and tighter. Or a blouson waist (though I wouldn't have liked that style it might have been better). And the shoes should have had white ankle bands. Fewer chandelier strings running down would have better. Different placement (top only or botton only) would have been an improvement, too. The concept is interesting. It should have been better tailored to Mrs. Hanks. Prada is at fault.
Another thing I liked at at an awards show no one else liked was the backward white pantsuit Celine Dion wore years ago. A little more tailoring might have made it more acceptable, too.
