You guys need to sue Sam. Her renters insurance will pay for damages, and Sam sure isn't hurting for money. She took something from you, that not only cost dollars, but you invested money and emotion into this pet, that probably cost a lot of money in the first place. You purposefully chose a safe pet, the size that wouldn't hurt anyone, and this dog attacked YOU WHILE YOU WERE HOLDING YOUR DOG. This bulldog has a history of attacking PEOPLE.
