David Letterman's blackmailer Robert Halderman is out of a New York City jail after serving four months behind bars.
The former CBS News producer got two months knocked off his sentence for good behavior. Halderman pled guilty to extortion after demanding $2 million from Letterman to keep quiet about the "Late Show" host's extramarital affair.
Halderman still has to do 1,000 hours of community service.

This bias is a perfect example of left leaning news agencies. Even the Tabloids are left leaning. For decades, Letterman has had MANY extra marital affairs, mainly preying on his office pool. One he admits started right after the birth of his son......but where is the outrage??? Tiger gets his head handed to him, Jesse James is Bar-be-qued, the S.Carolina Gov. is shamed out of office.......but this gap tooth, old man who hasn't been funny in 20 years gets a pass?? WHY?....cause he sucks up to all leftie politicians and actors like Julia Roberts, that's why. TWO FACED HYPOCRITS.

Seeing as 1000 hours of community service might take me like...oh, 1000 HOURS to complete, and seeing as how I'm such a busy man, may I suggest an alternative.
With each of the following being worth at least 100 hours of service to the community, perhaps you might give the go-ahead for me to complete this list instead.
I'm willing to knock off the following parasites:
1) The "Sitch"
2) LiLo
3) Paris Hilton
4) Tila Tequila
5) Mel Gibson
I also wish to do a public service do***entary which I feel should count towards the remaining 500 hours of CS. It is a subtle, yet poignant film of how my O-ring (while in prison) went from a size 1/4" to...well, let's just say I won't be sitting on any barstools in the near future for fear of getting stuck.

Extortion is the dumbest crime on the books! The only thing different from what this guy did and someone like Rachel Uchitel did is hiring a freaking lawyer! If you didn't do anything wrong or something to be embarrassed about, then you can't be blackmailed.

Hey "BananaPatch", how "great" Dead-in-the Water Dave is, is reflected in his ratings. Numbers do not lie. Go on and remain a hatefilled fool.See you in November. Letterman slams Tiger Woods for months but his own discretions were over in 3 days?? That's because he's one of the left's media's darlings. Married at the time or not his baby's momma was sharing his home while dear ol Dave was boinking Robert Halderman's live-in girlfriend at work. Nothing cool about that at all. Halderman should have released the story straight to the news and forgotten about payback.

Ok so now you can shop the manuscript about Dave's philandering and "loft above the Sullivan" antics. It will make for wonderful reading and help give this coot the rep he deserves and has earned. Recall his own father was a florist---who died much to early, so little Davey has been trying to prove his manhood to the world and himself, only he did through power and control---like rapists do, only he used the promise of continued employment as his ruse. Please, the man is a pure sociopath, doesnt feel a thing for anyone. Funny at times, slightly creative, confident on stage and in front of a camera, but do recall Ted Bundy was a trained attorney. Intelligence has nothing to do with abuse of power and control.

Letterman is becoming a CARICATURE of himself and that's time to ride off into the Montana Sunset!
Christina Applegate gave him such a bewildered look when he STUTTERED. Letterman STUTTERED with Donald Trump and all his guests recently. Too much stress or guilt, Dave?
