In response to your question regarding texting/talking on the phone while driving, it should absolutely be banned. The only way it should be allowed at all is if everything is voice activated/hands free so the person's attention is not taken off the road. In Ontario Canada this law is already in place, if caught texting/talking while driving if not using hands free, it is a $150-$500 fine. The only exception to this law being the need to call 911.

Hey Harvey .... texting, dialing or whatever while driving has NOTHING to do with you! If you want to kill yourself, there's 100 different ways to do it. Knock yourself out. But, texting or dialing your phone instead of paying attention to the road .... now you're playing with MY life and my family's life! Zero tolerence!

Harvey, although I'm a faithful TMZ reader I've never watched TMZ Live before. I really enjoyed it. Do you always use that much paper? Every day? Can't you switch to an iPad or something? I hope you at least recycle. As for your cell phone issue, in NJ you can only use a hands free device and it's a primary law. I think even that is a distraction. Why can't people just be alone with their thoughts while they drive? Why the need to be in constant contact? I'm sure there are studies out there that will tell you how distracting each behavior is while driving. Hope to see you on The O'Reilly Factor soon, I love when you're a guest!

With all the space given to advertising, there should be enough money to give a choice of the size of the printing. Please look into it. It looks to me like more than half the page is dedicated to ads. Not like it yse to be.

Harvey.. isn't it NOW a law NOT to talk on a cell phone while driving in CA as well as MANY states .. sooo you not only made a 'boo boo' texting . but had NO right to talk on the phone . Not sure about speaker type . BUT I feel that even listening to talk radio or having passentger(s) in car can be dangerous to turn . listen .. talk to .. Knew someone coming back from VEGAS who reached down for his dog and KILLED a young woman . Husband injured & partially paralized . DRIVE . Pay attention to THAT only! .. Pull over to do 'other things' .. Ya think?

Re: Reggie Bush... Bush won the Heisman Trophy from the "Downtown Athletic League", a group like the Academy Wards that votes on the winner of the trophy in New...York... City. This group is not run of controlled by the NCAA and its rules. You guys ROCK in Dallas/Fort Worth.

- do you think the officer gave you a break on the ticket (giving you a non-moving violation, texting) instead of (?) since you said you were not texting.
- do you think since Reggie Bush was ineligible to win the Heisman that the person who should get it(namely Vince Young)has a claim to damages since having the trophy literally means millions of dollars difference in signing and endorsements? (or at least in signing...)
