Learn to read commenters. The feet are PROSTHETIC. For those lacking a grade school education it means they are artificial.

Why the producers and director thought huge prosthetic feet were necessary for the movie is a good question though.

He is probably shooting a scene where he is barefoot but the scene may have explosions, debris etc that they want to protect his feet from.

i live about a minute away from this film set and you could actually walk through it when it was being constructed. its blocked off now, but it looks really good. makes manchester look like somewhere with more class.
