Lindsay Lohan

Will Bail Out of Jail

9/24/2010 9:45 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

UPDATE 10:10PM PDT: TMZ has learned that Lindsay's favorite bondsman has posted her bail. She can now leave the Lynwood jail as soon as she can get a ride.

UPDATE 6:02PM PDT: Lindsay will have to get a SCRAM bracelet (this will be her third) within 24 hours -- and under the terms of her bail, she is not allowed to be around known drug users ... and must submit to search by law enforcement at any time.  Also, nightclubs will be a major no-no ... Linds has to stay out of places where alcohol is the "chief item of sale."

Lindsay Lohan
will be a free woman soon, because a judge has just reversed Judge Elden Fox's decision and has granted LiLo bail ... TMZ has learned.

0924_eldon_fox_lindsay_lohane_ex_tmz
Judge Fox ruled earlier today ... Lindsay could be held without bail.  But apparently the Judge's ruling flies in the face of California law, which gives defendants the right to bail in misdemeanor cases.

Judge Patricia Schnegg, Assistant Supervising Judge for the L.A. County Criminal Courts, just threw Judge Fox's bail decision out the window.  Judge Schnegg has set bail at $300,000.

Lindsay, who is in Lynwood Jail right now, should get out soon ... probably in a few hours.

Hmmm seems like someone got to that judge and turned her. Yet another corrupt judge letting habitual drug users out so they can get drunk and high and run over innocent women and children with their SUV's. Good job of protecting the public judge!

She DOES need some serious help - but FIRST, like EVERYONE ELSE... do the crime - DO THE TIME........ oh yah, she's NOT the same, huh ? ... I hope Judge Fox learns a hard lesson from his poor poor decision. Seriously folks, what is up with the special treatment here ?

I don't wish death on anyway but this is actually just a mess that LiLo's life has become - and it will probably end that way. Sad thing is she WAS actually talented and could act but I am tired of her being privileged and entitled - didn't her last SCRAM bracelet get "alcohol spilled on it" - I mean every excuse in the book this girl has, and I am sorry bit when she is lying DEAD is when everyone who has helped her along the way should wake up and realise they weren't doing her any favours. This girl needs REHAB and JAIL TIME!

Are there enough law enforcement officers in Cali to post them at every bathroom she might go into, to search her after every visitor or take-out food delivery item she accepts, and prohibit her from traveling beyond the confines of her condo? That SCRAM didn't work so well the last time.

She isn't getting away with anything
The Judge thought he would be smart and put her in jail without bail but not sentence her and she is entitled to bail.
The Judge could have sentenced her today but he didn't
She has a right to bail until the formal hearing

This is just so ridiculous! What the h*ll is the point of even putting her there in the 1st place?!?!?! Why waste everyone's time going to trial and putting her in jail, when all she does is get out? Her "attorney" should be ashamed of herself for enabling her client. Doesn't anyone get that Lindsay is going to keep doing what she does best (cocaine/adderal/alcohol) until someone actually helps her by putting her in jail and then sending her to a real 90 program that she has to actually complete? The judical/legal program is a d*mn joke.

Her parents are shameless people. Mikie made his sad/funny plea. Mommy is just as bad as her. She'll be the 2000's teen pile. Never will she find a career or the "A" list besides being a scuzz. Mikie is a POS, just like momma. Hungry for attention, shame she's lost everything so young.

This is a great shame. She really would benefit from having to stay in jail for the entire 30 days. Of course she wouldn't think so. This is going to make her feel more entitled than before.
