Lindsay Lohan Chooses Rehab

9/26/2010 5:00 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

TMZ has learned Lindsay Lohan is about to re-enter rehab ... and it's her decision.

0925_lindsay_Lohan_TMZ_EX3
Sources with direct and specific knowledge of the situation tell TMZ Lindsay will enter a live-in facility outside of Los Angeles within days. Lindsay is now agonizingly aware she has an addiction problem and also acknowledges the reality -- addicts often backslide before they get better.

We're told Lindsay is telling people she doesn't want this type of life anymore. She says she wants to get better and wants to do whatever it takes at this point ... irrespective of what Judge Elden Fox does to her.

Lindsay is a Somatic Narcicist, and there is no known cure for that.

We have heard all of this before. Sorry, this time I am not buying it. She is making this move to stay out of jail. She's playing the judge - ONCE AGAIN. It's like the little boy that kept on crying wolf.

Put a narcissist in a tough spot and they always charm and maneuver their way out of it. And after the smoke clears they are right back at it.

@#3 EXACTLY like the boy who cried wolf. Who believes one word out of her mouth anymore?

If that's true then congratulations on finally waking up to reality. If not, she can't be taken seriously by anyone, including the people that can give her work.

You have to want it badly enough that you will cut out those in your life that contribute to your undoing.

Take rehab seriously enough that you want it more than death.

Good for her. I can't help but think it'd be better for her to not have a say in where she goes for recovery but it is still a step for the better. She is an addict and the first step is admitting it. Best of luck Lindsay! I have been through it myself and I can say it's a tough. long road but well worth it in the end. My prayers are with you!

This is good advice from her lawyer. People in her position have to hit rock bottom before they will get better. She will need complete humiliation, real jail time and a near death experience. If she survives then maybe she can get better, until then we are all tired of her crap.

Well, that certainly convinces me! This has absolutely NOTHING to do with her having to go for sentencing in a few weeks! No, she has seen the light! Yes sir, she's SERIOUS this time, she said so!
