Lindsay:

Don't Even Think

About a Conservatorship

9/30/2010 6:12 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Lindsay Lohan has made it clear ... she will personally go to court and fight like hell if anyone tries to put her under a conservatorship ... sources with firsthand knowledge tell TMZ.

0928_lindsay_lohan_tmz_ex
Lindsay is saying no matter where she is -- and she's at Betty Ford right now -- she will come to court and go after anyone who tries to create a conservatorship.

But there's one proviso.  Lindsay could end up in rehab for a long time.  There could be problems handling Lindsay's business affairs while Lindsay is otherwise engaged, so there's a real possibility a trust will be created -- at least temporarily -- to handle financial matters.

A knowledgeable friend told me that Michael Lohan has been writing about fifteen posts per Lindsey Lohan story and that he's already contributed on almost 22 just today. One of Michael's many alias's is spinner25 or stepping25 though I don't see that name here today.

If she does the Linda Lovelace flick, she'll bank some serious cash

Actually it's a great idea, as long as her parents can not under any cir***stances touch a penny. Someone impartial, like the duo who has worked wonders with Michael Jacksons estate.

If a judge would select someone or a team with the instuctions that they were to act in the best interests on LL ONLY, they could lay down the law with the parents, and it could be the best thing that ever happened to LL.

If Lindsay just went with to Morningside for 90 days like Judge Revel wanted her to, she'd still be there getting the treatment she needs.
But NOOOOOOOO, Lindsay and her attorney had to out smart the judge and leak the story so she'd get transferred to UCLA and released early.
Look how that bright idea worked out for you Lindsay.

Lindsay and her attorney did the right thing.
The Judge decided on 90 days because she notices that 2 years later she only completed 60 days at the Cirque.
Also Morningside had SOOO many rules to follow that she would hve ended up back in court for another violation of probation hearing in less than the time she spent at UCLA were she was allowed daily visitors because it was a hospital.

She does not meet the critia for a conservatorship. Not a physical one anyway. Financially, I don't know. They wouldn't allow Lindsay's parents to have anything to do with any sort of financial trust issued in Lindsay's name. That is beyond a given. Conservatorship do not exist to baby sit addicts. That's not what a conservatorship is. Period. End of debate. She does not qualify. The results of her psyche ward evaluation prove without a shadow of a doubt that she is not a candidate legally for a conservatorship.

I wish you guys would take the time to read the news before you start making wild statements and spewing misinformation. It is her mother that wants to be the conservator, not her father.
I do remember when another young blonde star acted like Lindsay and even shaved her head to show the world that she was incompetant. Her father became the conservator and now Britney Spears seems to be back. Lindsay's mother needs to step back and let her daughter heal.

So much for trying to get better. She will get out of rehab now with the excuse that she has to fight for her freedom.

@33 you are starting from the wrong assumption. Just because Dina or Michael WANT to be conservator doesn't mean a judge would appoint either ( in fact : chance of that, even when a judge would decide to take this decision , is an absolute 0% ) .Michael claims he doesn't want the job , yet he graciously provides the court with a short list, yeah right ! Judge would be wise to throw any list either parent supplies him with in the nearest recycle bin.

It would be the best thing for HER if the judge would take this decision but considering the move by daddy dearest , and earlier mummy , to force this issue and her stance on it judge can't do this now.

More important ,at least now, is the fact the parents seem incapable of granting her the rest to get this treatment ( they can't even shut up for 2 weeks ) ,making me wonder if judge can't place gag order on both to refrain from commenting on anything regarding their daughter for duration of treatment .Make it so, judge ...

Most likely a conservator will be a neutral party, as her family has too many problems

What money!!! she can not have much left. She has not done a major movie in years, with her spending habits there cant be much left. She needs to stop fooling herself and the public that she is important. This stuff can only be coming from her people, just like the pictures of her holding scrips...all fake.

Your totally full of crap! There have been at least two months of drug tests with only one showing any of those drugs so how does that make her dependant or addicted? She was cut off while in rehab and tested weekly after with no finding of anything but a trace amount of adderall one time!
There are tens of thousands of hard core drug addicts who are not under a conservatorship.

The law specifically demands that it be proven she is a danger to herself or the public and also demands proof that she can not support herself. The most common test is:can she dress herself, feed herself, and do basic money management.

A conservatorship is the kiss of death, if the conservator doesn't steal all your money the lawyers involved will.

Well her family still has the getting her "committed" card in their pocket, since she can't make good judgement calls on her own they could use this on her.

She doesn't want to get better & this latest stunt to try to stay out of jail is costing her alot of money & is wasting alot of people's time at The Betty. Its amazing what addicts will do to keep there a** above water & out of jail!
