Uh, if she didn't have a prescription med problem, why did she act like she was on speed in the courtroom and also test positive for Adderall in the recent dirty test that got her the rehab sentence 'til January? She couldn't stay away from it even for a short period even while being routinely tested. That means she has a problem, even if she didn't have an obvious withdrawal problem at UCLA. There is no physical test for addiction, plenty of addicts are bingers, can stay away for relatively long periods but still be addicted and ready to use again once they have the chance, but don't have the usual withdrawal problems when under observation. The real test of addiction is whether you can take it or leave it - and she failed that one big time.
So Michael called it right. He said at the time that he could tell from the way she looked at some earlier court hearing that she had a prescription med problem. He has personal experience with such things, so this is one matter he actually knows about.
Even a broken clock is right twice a day... So he can be a jerk but still be on the mark here.
