Michael Jackson's Kids: It's Not Daddy's Voice!

11/1/2010 1:40 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

The Michael Jackson album Sony is about to release is a fraud, according to members of Michael Jackson's family.

Michael Jackson new album:
We've learned Sony is determined to release the album for Christmas, and believes the songs are all authentic.  We're told MJ and his kids were in New Jersey when he recorded the tracks with producers in 2007.

Sources tell us Paris and Prince now believe some of the songs on the album are fakes -- not Michael's voice.  Sony, we're told, is convinced all of the songs are the real deal.  Howard Weitzman, lawyer for the estate, tells TMZ he had experts listen to the tracks and all of the experts concluded it's Michael's voice on all the tracks.

Other Jackson family members also believe some of the tracks are phony.  There is a stalemate, although at this point no one is talking lawsuit.

Michael Jackson Can't Help Sony Music Any More
Peter Kafka, On Friday October 29, 2010, 9:37 am EDT

Michael Jackson was such a huge star that he was able to stop the music industry’s perpetual slide: In the aftermath of his death last year, sales perked up at Sony’s music arm, which puts out the singer’s catalog.

But there’s no star big enough to permanently stop gravity. Now that Jackson sales have come back to earth, Sony reports that last quarter’s sales dropped another 10.8 percent, or a mere 6 percent if you strip out the effect of currency fluctuations. Operating income dropped 6.1 percent.

Reminder: Digital music sales, which were eventually supposed to overtake physical sales and push revenue back up once again, aren’t doing the trick. In the US, sales via Apple’s iTunes and other outlets are either flat, or shrinking, depending on the sales data you’re looking at. (Which should either make the labels either less likely, or more likely, to get deals done with the likes of Spotify. Take your pick!)

Meanwhile. Did you buy, or hear of, any of the following? Sony says they were best-sellers, at least comparatively: YUI’s HOLIDAYS IN THE SUN, Miliyah Kato’s HEAVEN, Kana Nishino’s to LOVE, Yannick Noah’s Frontières, Santana’s Guitar Heaven: The Greatest Guitar Classics Of All Time and Kenny Chesney’s Hemingway’s Whiskey.

Oh well....
this Michael Jackson/MJFT/Jackson initiated "Fake/real" controversy should jackson up the sales for Sony.

Michael Jackson & associates are SO the con artists.

Associated Press - November 1, 2010 5:15 PM PDT

LOS ANGELES - A wrongful-death lawsuit filed by Michael Jackson's father will now be handled by a state court after a federal judge said Monday he didn't have authority to hear the case and that the singer's father would be unlikely to collect tens of millions of dollars in damages in his court.

Joe Jackson's attorney agreed to dismiss part of his case against the doctor charged in the pop superstar's death, which prompted the judge to rule that the remaining issues had to be heard in state court.

U.S. District Judge John F. Walter opened a hearing Monday by telling Joe Jackson's attorney that he didn't think Jackson's father could receive any money from one of the major causes of action, which alleged the singer's rights were violated under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

"I am firmly convinced that you can't seek damages on this (disabilities act) cause of action," Walter said.

The judge said that was the only federal issue in the case and he would not handle any other issues. "This is a creature of state law, this wrongful death claim," the judge said.

Joe Jackson's attorney, Brian Oxman, agreed to dismiss the ADA-related claim and said he would refile the case in Los Angeles Superior Court soon.

Walter had previously expressed doubts that the case belonged in federal court, but had allowed it to remain until the case's first scheduling hearing Monday.

The lawsuit will likely join a case filed by the Jackson family patriarch's wife against concert promoter AEG Live. Katherine Jackson sued the company, which planned and promoted a series of London concerts Michael Jackson was preparing for when he died unexpectedly in June 2009.

She has accused the promoter of failing to give Dr. Conrad Murray lifesaving equipment and properly oversee him while he cared for her son during preparations for the concerts. AEG has said the lawsuit is meritless.

"Given the two cases pending, it makes no sense to have them separated," Oxman said. "It's a matter of practicality."

Murray has been charged with involuntary manslaughter and was named in Joe Jackson's lawsuit, but not in the case filed by Katherine Jackson.

Murray's attorney, Charles H. Peckham, told Walter that there would still be legal hurdles in state court for Joe Jackson's lawsuit. He said after the hearing that Murray will challenge whether the elder Jackson has the right to sue for wrongful death.

Authorities have accused Murray of giving Michael Jackson a lethal dose of sedatives, including the anesthetic propofol, in the bedroom of the singer's rented mansion. Propofol is meant to be used in hospital settings.

Murray has pleaded not guilty.

Walter also said Monday he didn't want to wait for Murray's trial to conclude, and he warned the attorneys that if the case remained in his courtroom, it would not be significantly delayed.

"I'm not going to wait around for two years, if you think that's how long the criminal case is going to take," the judge said.

Murray is due back in criminal court Jan. 4 for the start of a preliminary hearing where prosecutors will lay out some of the evidence against him. His attorneys have said he did not give the one-time King of Pop anything that should have killed him.

Oh Yeah, let’s not mention Friedman and Sony’s relationship, OK?
There’s a lot more to the “Cascio Songs” than you know!
The truth is the light!!

Posted at 3:26 PM on Nov 1, 2010 by WillOTheWisp

What I noticed with interest is that Friedman mentions co-executor John McClain to support the "fake"-theory.
Isn't the estate always suspect to be in cahoots with Sony?

Katherine Jackson talks to 'Oprah' next week

"Katherine Jackson will discuss the death of her son, pop superstar Michael Jackson, in an interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Harpo Productions said Monday that Winfrey's interview with Jackson's mother will air Nov. 8 on "The Oprah Winfrey Show." Jackson's father, Joe Jackson, and his three children, Prince, Paris and Blanket Jackson, will also appear during a backyard visit taped for the episode.

Winfrey and Katherine Jackson filmed the interview at the family's home in Encino, Calif. The Chicago-based production company says Katherine Jackson talks about the day her son died and reflects on his life as a childhood star.

Michael Jackson died unexpectedly in June 2009. He gave a famous interview to Winfrey in 1993 in which he first disclosed suffering from the skin condition vitiligo."

I have to agree the kids were around their dad everyday,if they say it's not his voice, then I would believe them over the tabloids anyday!

What I still don't understand is that – on one hand – the estate signs a deal with Sony re the album with unreleased songs and is determined enough to publish them that they even call a forensic audiologist to prove that it IS Michael's voice on the tapes.
But on the other hand John McClain as a co-executor and a representative of the estate publicly doubts the authenticity of the songs.
Isn't that a contradiction?
