This is so sad. Jess has only been dating this guy for a few months and suddenly now she announces an engagement right after Nick does? So desperate, but she wasn't thinking far enough ahead. Had she done so she'd see how ridiculous she just made herself look. Clearly the two are not ready for marraige, she's only doing it to try and steal Nick's limelight. Either that or she is jealous or pissed that he was the first to find true love before her. This is a poor attempt and a backfire if I ever saw one to try and make people believe that she is just as in love as Nick is.

I think she is really pretty, chubby or not. I hope she has a baby someday and finds her true happiness with a good man who she really loves. (not in that order, maybe) but she deserves to enjoy womanhood. I hope she's not making a mistake.

Honestly, neither guy is anything to write home about. Both are unemployed. Both are not even that cute. Both are divorced. And one seems to have jumped out of one marriage and into another for the sake of a prenup while the other gave in to his gf's pressures to marry (i.e. saying repeatedly in interviews how she wanted to get married already). Yep...real winners. And both Vanessa and Jessica are desperate and pathetic in my mind. Jessica has serious self esteem issues and only feels happy and important when she has a man in her life, while Vanessa engages in indirect verbal catfights with Jessica by implying that she - unlike Jessica - showers everyday and twice, and with Nick too. Please. The 4 of you: grow up and be the adults you're supposed to be.

Jessica seems like a sweet, pretty girl. She might not be the sharpest pencil in the box, but you don't see her out clubbing or acting disruptive. I can't say I am a "fan" of hers; I've never listened to her music, and never watched her shows or movies. My perception of her is totally based on following celebrity gossip.
That being said, she seems completely harmless to me. She is a girl seeking her happy ending. Maybe the timing of this engagement was poor, but when has our Jessica been known for her timing?
I hope this guy treats her right, and they live out a love story. Unfortunately, I have a bad feeling that he is a total dbag.
