Diana famously picked out the £30,000 ring -- which consisted of 14 diamonds surrounding a sapphire -- back in 1981. They divorced in 1996.
So we gotta ask ...

Cool, maybe they'll reverse the curse! Nice to see the ring being worn again. Cuz that's a really NICE ring.
I think Diana would be flattered that her future daughter in law would be wearing that ring...she was an extremely beautiful lady...what a way to honor her!!!
That ring was given to Harry, not William, when Diana died. Are you sure you have the facts correct? The article says nothing about Harry giving it up. I wish the ring would have gone to Diana's first granddaughter to keep it in her bloodline.
I think it's an honor for Kate to receive that beautiful ring. He loves her enough that he is entrusting her with it. That is a beautiful sentiment and no doubt she is wearing it proudly. She seems like a lovely woman who will do right by Princess Diana and Prince William.

@Anne: Why would they give the ring to Harry? William is Diane and Charles' first born and second in line to the thrown. Royals are very traditional and everyone knows if anything, the ring would have gone to William, first born.
@Halligator: If it's not a BFD, then get the hell off this page. It was obviously a BFD enough for you to get on here and read the article. lol. Idiot. (SMH)
