Travis Barker Drums Up Cash for Injured BMX Stars

12/2/2010 4:40 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Travis Barker will give you his drums ... Rob Dyrdek will let you into his Fantasy Factory ... and a Phillies star will teach you how to hit -- all to help 2 badly injured BMX stars pay for their medical bills.

Travis Barker

UFC Prez Dana White is hosting a benefit at Vanity Nightclub in Vegas this Friday to raise money for TJ Lavin and Ty Pinney -- who each wound up in a coma in separate accidents last month.

Barker, Dyrdek and Shane Victorino are just some of the stars helping out -- we're told a bunch of celebs are also pitching in.

As for the BMXers -- Lavin is recovering slowly at home. Pinney is currently at a rehab therapy center in Vegas.

Let me just add to this all by saying NOBODY IS ASKING YOU TO HELP. This is being done for them because their friends Love and Care about them. Yeah BMX is a risky sport, so Is football and so on and so forth. People get hurt everyday doing what they love. Keep your ignorant ****ing comments to yourselves. Just because TJ is a millionaire doesn't mean he cant have support after his injury from his family and friends. If you knew the state both of them were in you wouldn't be saying ****.

All of you that support my brother Ty Pinney and TJ Lavin I love you all. Everyone else can **** off and die.

they make enough money to pay their own bills. how about a benefit for those people whose families are struggling to put dinner on the table....much less pay hospital bills for the ailing children.

AGAIN!!! For those of you who can't read. TJ Lavin has donated tons of his winnings to local charities, including families in need and teen programs here in Las Vegas. UFC and Dana White do charity events all the time for the troops (a fight coming up soon in a couple of months), 3-square, an organization that puts food on tables for families in need, local law enforcement, local high schools, Jim Rogers Charity, Shane Victorino Charity, The Helf Group just to few. The UFC contributes to almost all people in need. That makes them outstanding members of the community that give back to the people and enjoy helping people in need and you all that keep crying a bunch of selfish a-holes. Do you research before you judge. Keep calling them millionaires too, it just shows how completely unaware of the situation you are. Unless you've stood next to them in their hospital bed, you can't talk.

I could care less if they're millionaires or not. If you're going to do a backflip, ride off of a ramp or try to jump over something on your bike/skateboard/rollerblades and you bust your head and end up in a coma...you got what you deserved. If someone wants to help you pay your bills, that's their prerogative. But don't act surprised when you get called out for living an "Extreme" lifestyle but you can't afford to pay your medical bills. I WORK TOO HARD CHILD!

I don't even have anything else to say to you but go **** yourself. honestly, go ****ing stick your head in a blender or go get hit by a semi truck. if youre so set on charities why dont you make one for your ****ing ignorance maybe people will donate to it. Everyone complaining about where's the charities for this and that, this show and all the charity events for Ty and TJ were organized by his friends and family. So how bout you angry haters go ahead and start organizing a charity event for whoever you think deserves it, instead of wasting your time talking about a situation you know nothing about.

For those that can Event starts at 10:30 tonight inside Vanity Nightclub at the Hard Rock Hotel.

First of All Rich or poor, famous or not, that isn't the point. Ty Pinney is a hard working young man whom IS NOT wealthy and DOES have insurance...However the ACCIDENT that caused his medical bills is way over what most companies will pay. What the He** does it matter what you do for a living...If this were YOU or one of YOUR family or friends I would only hope that YOU would step up instead of making comments on something you know NOTHING about!!!!! So to all you haters...GET A LIFE!!!! and don't hate because there are FRIENDS out there that have your back in time of need.

I am so disgusted by ALL these negitive a** remarks about how they are "millionaires" or "pay you own bills" WHAT IF THIS WAS YOUR CHILD? Who care's about thier finacial status? Do you know the cost of living in a coma? NO YOU DONT!! STFU!! Thier family and friends love them. Wouldnt you want support like that if you or your child was injured? Or wait your too busy being a hater that would never be a REALITY for you. They got hurt doing something they love and have passion for. You all are haters for sure. When you get injured doing something you love I hope YOUR INJURY involves THE HIV/AIDS. GO CHOKE ON A FATTY && die a slow painful death douche nozzles. And I dont mean a blunt.

TJ- ITS GOOD TO KNOW YOUR DOING BETTER.
