Wesley Snipes -- I Won't Be Home for the Holidays

12/6/2010 4:35 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Wesley Snipes won't be getting the gift of freedom for Christmas -- because a judge just DENIED the actor's request to have his surrender date pushed back until after the holidays.

Wesley filed the request last week -- asking a federal judge in Florida if he could begin his three-year prison sentence for tax evasion on January 6, 2011 instead of December 9, 2010.

Wesley's argument ... he has "four minor children" and didn't want to get locked up "in the middle of the holiday season."

But a judge didn't see it that way -- because according to documents filed today in Florida, the judge denied the request citing the fact that Wesley was originally sentenced over two-and-a-half years ago ... and therefore the actor had "all of that time to place his affairs in order."

The judge also wrote, "The sooner he begins his sentence, the sooner it will end."

Obama should pardon him. look at how many in Obama's administration are tax offenders and they are not in jail. Matter of fact, they are still in the administration.

He did not commit the crime. His mistake was trusting his manager, who has since been indicted. I also find it disturing that the IRS secretly had this manager under investigaton for embezzling when they went after Snipes. Hence, they knew he was a crook and Snipes was his victim.

He Knew all about stiffing the Government he would have been treated like a victim if he knew nothing of what his manager did. He lied to the IRS and got what was coming to him. He figured he would blame his manager for it since it was truth his manager was ripping him off. Snipes like anybody else who owes the Government would have received papers to his home NOT OFFICE so stop making excuses for his NI99ER A S S and stop trying to convince people he was a victim. He's gonna be out here in Pa doing his time they aren't gonna give him any special treatment out here. He is Just an inmate in Pa and that's why he doesn't want to turn himself in. He is a nobody washed up NEGRO and I hope he hangs himself while in prison.

Quit whinning and go to jail. You are a tax cheat and that's what happens - you go to jail. You fault for putting it off for so long. Your kids will get over it and maybe you'll think twice before trying to CHEAT the tax man again!!!!!!!!
