Even if you don't know who is who in a celebrity-fan photo, you can just always tell by their faces.

The celebrity always gives a phoney, less-than-genuine, wish-this-person-would-go-away smile.

And the fan grins like mad, that desperate "oh-yeah-we-are-best-friends" kinda smile.

It's sad, really.

This guy thinks taking pictures with celebrities is a competitive sport. If it satisfies some aspect of his life and makes him happy then go for it.

What did Matt do before tmz? Some of these pictres are from over ten years ago. (How long has tmz been around?) I thoght the hair styles of Mathh and the celebs were interesting...I thought it was an imppressive collection....

Love the Mark Wahlberg (14) pic from the 'Rock Star' era. And Hugh Grant (55) had that same expression in his mug shot from years ago. Yes, the fan has a huge grin in almost every picture and the celebrities sometimes don't. Most celebs appear to be pretty good sports though.

Looks like Matt snuck up on about half of those celebs (based on the frightened / angry / frustrated looks on their faces.) Especially Michael Douglas who appears to have been ambushed.

Matt and Seth MacFarlane make a great looking couple...any chance of romance?
