Charlie's 'Assistant' Mum on Being Bad Influence

2/1/2011 11:38 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Charlie Sheen's assistant, Rick Calamaro, muzzled up when a photog asked him about a TMZ story yesterday -- that virtually everyone in Charlie's circle believes Rick is a bad influence on the actor.

Rick Calamaro
Rick -- big in the L.A. nightclub scene -- used to party hard with Charlie back in the day. But as we first reported, Charlie brought Rick back into his life last summer -- as his "assistant."

Rick was with Charlie at The Plaza Hotel during the now-famous Capri Anderson incident. He was in Las Vegas last month during Charlie's bender. And Rick was at Charlie's house last week when Charlie partied with the porn stars.

Rick, who says he doesn't like reading about himself, is being blamed by various people connected with "Two and a Half Men" for being a central negative force in Charlie's life.

But he likes chocolate milk.

When you reach middle age, it's pretty safe to say that the only negative influences in your life are those you allow, or invite.

I don't trust this guy.

I don't know if it's the fact that he's obviously stoned out of his mind... or because he's wearing an ugly hat that is two sizes too small... or a poorly tied wool scarf in 80 degree heat... or the pervy Fu Manchu. Maybe it's because he's carrying chocolate milk.

The hat is too small. It is probably Charlie's hat because this guy is a meathead.

I found an article from 2006 talking about his club Hollys in L.A the jist of the story was that to have a club be so exclusive that they cannot make enough money to stay open, unless of course the owners have "other income sources" to operate the club???What a surprise .

Visualize an old man dancing naked or naked in a 5 star resturant bathroom naked with coke all over his face.

Base price for a Mercedez Benz S60...0? $140,500. He's driving a $140,500 car to the grocery store.

I could be totally wrong but I bet that charlies is a worse influence to Rick than Rick is to Charlie. Listen, Everyone needs a partner in crime.

He might be a bad influence but Charlie is a grown ass man and the responsibility/blame lies with him and him alone. It is his life to do with as he wishes. Yes, I know he has kids...again HIS responsibility or lack there of falls on his shoulders.

Charlie bends him over every now and then. When you get drunk as Charlie "a hole is a hole". Just keep some Wet naps handy.

And thats the truth

Charlie is not an impressionable teenager, he is a man. He should know the difference between right and wrong by now. If he does not, he will never learn. He has been a "free spirit" long before this guy came into the picture.

When I was young, I attended a party in which people were smoking pot. I was about 13. We were outside sitting in a large circle. When the joint was passed to me, I immediately passed it to the next person. I did not want to have anything to do with it. I had more of a mind of my own at 13, then Charlie has in his 40's and I am about the same age as he is. Cant anyone take responsibility for their own actions anymore? Why must is be someone elses fault all of the time?
