Christina Aguilera NAILS Super Bowl Rehearsal

2/8/2011 10:07 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Christina Aguilera sang an UNBELIEVABLE rendition of the "Star-Spangled Banner" during Super Bowl rehearsals -- one of the best ever -- and she was so confident in her performance, she didn't even finish the song!!!

TMZ obtained footage of the National Anthem rehearsals -- shot Saturday in Cowboys Stadium.

Christina not only gets all of the lyrics correct -- but the delivery was Whitney Houston-esque.

So much for the maxim practice makes perfect ...

Xtina told the AP, "I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through."

Prince Kicks Kim K Off Stage During Concert!

Kim Kardashian was pulled onto the stage by Prince last night in NYC -- but he quickly kicked her off when she wouldn't shake her assets for him!

The reality TV star and boyfriend Kris Humphries were in the audience for Prince's show at Madison Square Garden last night -- when he started pulling audience members from the crowd to come on stage to dance ... including Kim!

Telling the crowd "She might be too sexy," Prince picked out Kim and then waited for her to start moving ... and she completely froze! "Get off the stage!" he shouted ... and off she went.

"OMG Prince just pulled me up on stage!!! I'm shaking!!!!" Kardashian tweeted at the show, "I was so nervous I froze when Prince touched me!!!!"

She reportedly got a second chance on stage, tweeting again later "Went up on stage AGAIN! This time I redeemed myself! We all danced while Prince played the piano! Wow! What a night!"

NFL Cheerleaders: READY? OK!

Just because there were no cheerleaders at Super Bowl XLV -- doesn't mean you should be deprived of their cheery goodness!

You're welcome.

Aguilera's Anthem Slip-Up -- Is She the First?

Christina Aguilera famously flubbed the lyrics to the National Anthem before the Super Bowl, but surely she's not the only person to ever mess it up ... or is she?

Victoria Beckham's Baby Bump!

Victoria Beckham has kept her belly under wraps since she and David Beckham announced her pregnancy -- but today we're getting our first look at her sprouting baby bump!

Victoria was spotted earlier today wearing a loose fitting top, skinny jeans, a cute blazer and studded Louboutins when she arrived at Heathrow Airport in London for a flight -- proving that her personal style isn't taking a backseat to her pregnancy.

"Victoria and I are expecting our fourth child this summer," Beckham told fans last month -- adding "The boys are very excited about the arrival of a new brother or sister."

Check out the pics to see Victoria's bump!

You can't compare Whitney w/ Christina, first of all: Whitney had taped her rendition...therefore no mistakes....Christina is still a good singer with an exceptional voice....leave it alone...

The National Anthem should be as sacred to this country as Amazing Grace is to Christian religion. It was written during a battle in the War of 1812. The reason it’s our National Anthem is because during the course of a great human trauma (war), human courage stood the test of war and tragedy, and honor prevailed in the wake of insurmountable odds. As Francis Scott Key peered out his window the morning following the battle he saw that the American flag was still waving, although battered and torn it still stood. The British had not defeated the Americans on that prior night and the inspiration for that song, our National Anthem, was written. We should all be proud of the song and the message behind the song. So why does everyone lately want to add their own stupid little twists, vocal runs (which are ENTIRELY not needed, and are totally a disgrace), and additions to what should be a sacred song for this country. Sing the song! Don’t add anything to it! Remember the words! Bow afterwards! Whitney Houston did it right in 1991! Since then everyone has tried to outdo Whitney, which can’t be done! Sing the song like it was written, and NOT like you believe it should be done. That’s not your call! Even if Christina had remembered all the words, her little extras ruined the song for me, and she should be disgraced for that. My dad, who was at Normandy on 6/4/1944 (D-day for the non-History buffs), and all his buddies would have cringed to have heard that crap on Sunday night! Singers, are you listening, give us something of inspiration, not something to be disgraced by. You have your own concerts for that!

It was clearly evident that Christina intentionally flubbed the Star Spangled Banner to get massive PUBLICITY. She succeeded~it is all we can find on the news.. There will never be another Whitney Houston or Martina McBride that can sing our anthem with pride and a performance that we all can be proud of!

If you think screeching is a beautiful voice then you would love Christina. Not only does she screech, but to change the tune of the Star Spangled Banner to showcase her screech shows how self-centered she is.

She sounded like all the other pop singers that can't carry a tune. Shame when there are so many singers that could have done a great job, like Josh Groban. Some say the game mostly draws people under 30, most figure it doesn't matter how they sing the National Anthem as long as it has a pop sound. Well guess the young immature are the only ones that would pay to see a ball game when they can't pay their mortgage. Christina Aguilera/or any other screamer would be just fine with them no matter how she sings or screws it up. And society wonders what's wrong with this country!!!!

Forget using soloists to sing the National Anthem at public events. Invite those present to stand and sing THEIR National Anthem. So many have given so much for our freedoms that we should all stand and sing with pride. We don't need any soloist!

Opera singers never botched the lyrics. Time to hire the real professionals.

Nobody is perfect. Even a professional singer can forget the words. Obviously! Forgive her for that.
What she did intentionally is another matter. She should stick to the song and not add all those extra notes and inappropriate runs. A few years ago, Whitney embellished just a little, but it was still fitting. Christina's interpretation detracted from the song and made her voice the focus.

OMG get over yourselves people. Move on! Chistina Aguilerra's voice is so very distinctive .. she is up there with Stevie Nicks and Janis Joplin. A more prestigious honor doesn't exist. Keep on singing Christina, I and many generations to come will keep on listening.

I think it;s like burning a flag publicly. Keep the "Soul R&B'' blue eyed soul ''hip hop' what ever' somewhere else. Give the Anthem the Respect so many have given so much for. It disgust me when people alter the song for self seeking recognition. "Shame and you and all the other's"

Would it be great if talent mattered? We have gotten so politically correct even our National Anthem has been affected adversely. Stop with the skin color and the ethnic origins and let's get back to talent and the three you selected to vote on don't have it, talent that is.
