NFL Star Joey Porter -- $25,000 Case of the Craps

2/9/2011 9:35 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

NFL defensive juggernaut Joey Porter reached high-roller status in Vegas last weekend -- buying into a $25,000 craps game ... and we're told, Peezy completely dominated the table.

Porter clearly had his game face on at the Hard Rock Casino Saturday night -- where he stacked $30,000 worth of chips like they were Pringles ... and according to an eyewitness, the guy proceeded to rake in some SERIOUS profits.

In case you're wondering -- the yellow chips are worth $1,000, the pink ones are $500, and the black and reds are $100.

Feeling poor yet?

Damn people. He is playing with his own money which he earned because he has talent and used it to his advantage. Being in the NFL is no entitlement, you earn it. And "me" is raising her children on the resources she has and apparently doing a good job of it. The only thing about all this that amazes me is that it's a news story at all. We each earn what we earn and do whatever the hell we want with it.

One mans ceiling is another mans floor. Mr. Porter has earned his money so let him spend it here in America for the rest of us to enjoy. You go Joey and to hell with the rest of them.

You folks arent too bright, are you? Just because someone buys in with $25K in chips at a craps table, doesnt mean they are risking $25K on each roll. If played correctly, the house edge at craps can be reduced to under 1%.

And, to the guy who blamed Porter for his losing streak in AZ, hitting 15's and 16's against a dealer 10 is borderline. In the long run, you only pick up a VERY small percentage by doing it. Standing on 15 or 16 is not that far out of line. (And if you are a VERY good player, there are MANY situations where you would not hit on 15 or 16 v. a dealer 10 (i.e., if the deck is rich in 10's and you are smart enough to know that it is.))

Bunch of jealous poor white trash is all you are.
