'Two and a Half Men' Crew Furious - Episodes Cut

2/14/2011 3:40 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

The cast and crew of "Two and a Half Men" have just taken a major hit to their bank accounts, because Warner Bros. has just axed 4 of the remaining episodes ... TMZ has learned.

0209-charlie-sheen-thm-logo-tmz-ex

Warner Bros. was supposed to produce 8 more episodes to end the season, but with Charlie Sheen out, it set production behind.

Sources connected with the show tell us ... show creator Chuck Lorre has decided he only wants to produce 4 more episodes when Charlie comes back, and the crew is pissed.

One crew member tells us, "We've been left in the dark and now we have no pay for 4 episodes and all we hear is that Chuck is saying, 'They're not my problem.'"

Sources say Charlie has told people he was willing to work weekends and beyond the scheduled wrap date to make sure all 8 episodes were produced.

As for the schedule, we're told the show will go back into production on February 28.  The remaining 4 episodes will be shot on March 4, 11, 18 and 25.

I know a few people who stopped watching the show after hearing about his off-set romps with hookers. I stopped watching as well. Why support this jerk?

Bet the ratings take a tumble after the show returns.

Sheen IS responsible for these people's jobs. He is the sole reason they aren't being paid, and my guess is HE is still getting paid.

I wish CBS would wake the heck up and CANCEL the show. Keeping it on just encourages and condone's Sheen despicable behavior. He will continue to go off on binges as long as they co tinue to employ him.

The crew of “TWO and HALF MEN, ask the people who’ve been unemployed for four years to tell you how they get by. We don’t feel sorry for you. You earned millions of dollars a year for the last seven years! You have some nerve to complain about four weeks of unpaid leave. Especially when third of the nation is unemployed and the other third is homeless. I PITY THE FOOL!

Why is Charlie responsible for these people? He is an employee of CBS. He or Jon or the kid could all get hit by a car tomorrow and the job would be over. When a company lays off people or goes out of business thats it. The company is NOT responsible for the employees. Yes, it sucks but to say Charlie is responsible for these people is stupidity and sounds like entitlement to me. Get another job. All of America is doing that. You can too. Wow- Hollywood -such elitest morons. Try some reality for a change. If you lose your job look for another one. Don't look to another employee to help you unless they can network and help you get another job. Wow. Typical Hollywood.

That's the way it works in that industry. Nothing unusual about it. Those guys will find work, TMZ is just blowing it out of proportion.

I've never seen the show, so I don't really care about missing episodes. But I think Teflon Charlie needs to man up and admit the loss of wages are HIS fault. Doesn't matter if he thinks he's ready for work right now, other responsible, non-addict-addled brains obviously don't agree.

He's unable to grasp the concept of his employer's legal and fiduciary responsibilities through the fog of his hedonistic self indulgent fantasy bubble.

If they agreed to let him work again tomorrow and he O.D.s and dies next Tuesday, next thing you know there would be a wrongful death law suit against the network.

Sounds to me like the network found a solution to the lack of a 'morality' clause in his contract. Charlie delays the schedule so they simply hack a few shows and end up wrapping everything up on time. Hope the crew files a class action suit against Ol' Charlie and sues the pants off of him. There certainly is no lower a s***bag than one that doesn't consider how they're impacting people that count on them to earn a living.

It would also be great if that porn whore got a conscience and her kid turned out to be Ol' Charlie's. Who knows, if porn whore's mom did the deed when she was concieved maybe there would be no porn whore today.

"Warner Bros is wrong here, if Charlie's half well they should produce all 8. On overtime if they have to. The others should not suffer for this situation."

I agree. They should have done all 8 episodes especially since according to this article Charlie was willing to work whatever to make certain they got the episodes wrapped in time.

Boo hoo! Who cares? The show is trash anyways. Don't know why anyone would want to watch that garbage.

The crew should be pissed at their high school guidance counselors for giving them the impression that show business is as stable as accounting our health care!

Charlie is responsible in the same manner as when at a regular 9-5 office job goes on a bender on the weekend then calls in "sick" Monday morning.

Everybody left hanging, others left picking up the slack all around.

Same concept.
