MJ's Kids -- Murray Couldn't Have Killed Our Dad

2/21/2011 10:30 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Michael Jackson's children refused to believe their dad died of a heart attack -- because MJ used to RAVE that Dr. Murray was the BEST doctor on EARTH ... TMZ has learned.

0216_michael_jackson_conrad_ex_getty
MJ's former nanny, Grace Rwaramba, spoke with LAPD investigators in the months after Michael died  ... and explained how Murray became a "regular" around the house when the singer lived in Vegas ... coming by at least two times a week.

Grace told investigators Michael would constantly brag about Murray in front of the kids -- and that's why after he died, the kids would say, "There's no way daddy could have died of a heart attack because Dr. Murray is the best doctor in the whole world."

Grace also said Michael first met Murray through a member of MJ's security team ... and explained  MJ felt he could trust Murray, because the security guy claimed he had some sort of mysterious leverage over the doc.

Grace offered no further explanation about the mysterious leverage.

And here's another bombshell -- Grace says that during a family trip to Florida, the kids called 911 when they discovered MJ "passed out" in their hotel room. It's unclear when the incident took place.

How very sad that he would say that to his children. To MJ--"the best doctor in the world" would be the one who kept him drugged up.

I think the kids were saying right after Michael died that "Murray was the best doctor in the world". I remember reading something like that after he died. Now we can be 99% sure that all the gossip around 2009-early2010 was sold by Grace. It was probably her who said it for the first time and now she's just repeating herself. I'm sure though that now, when the kids know all the crap around Murray, then don't think that he's the best doctor anymore. They didn't have all info surrounding the death of their father at that time. They had faith in people (just like Michael). But now they learned that you can't trust just anyone. It's sad.

@Lorelaooo - I think I remember that read Latoya had said that Paris said something similar to that too when she was at the hospital that time. You're right though, they think they don't the same way about Murray now.

Will wait to hear more on exactly how MJ met CM. Since this all began we've heard it was through someone on his security team or through Joe. Perhaps it will come out in the trial.

Nonetheless, interesting perspective but I agree with others here, TMZ and all media for that matter, should take careful steps to protect MJ3 and anything they may have said. Remember, this is their FATHER you're writing about. And they are young children- who until Michael's death, really didn't know as much as they do today about the spotlight which they will remain for the rest of their beautiful lives.

"MJ's former nanny, Grace Rwaramba, spoke with LAPD investigators in the months after Michael died"

Please note, people, she didn´t say this RECENTLY.

YOU trust your doctor, don´t you? It is a natural thing to trust your doctor, otherwise you wouldn´t SEE him/her.
Michael´s children were sheltered, trusting children. Of course they thought that Murray was a good doctor. He was at their house on a daily basis. They talked to him, he seemed like a good person, a competent doc.
Michael´s children were trusting children UNTIL THEY REALIZED MURRAY KILLED THEIR FATHER THROUGH HIS INCOMPETENCE, SLOPPINESS AND SUB-STANDARD CARE! Can you imagine the trust issues this quack has left them with? Especially towards doctors!

And what is it you are doing with this "story" exactly, TMZ? By airing this piece of evil journalism about MINORS, you are opening a door in their minds, that IF (he won´t) Murray walks, they will possibly think that he walked because of their statement made immediately after Michael passed - when they were still in shock, very, very confused and grief stricken.
TMZ staff, how can you live with yourselves?

This story has no relevancy to the case or trial. So Michael thought he was a good doctor, so what? He obviously did or he would not have hired him.

What I do find interesting is that one of Michael's security guards had "some sort of mysterious leverage over the doc". IF this is true, which security guard would this have been as I do not believe Michael had the same security team in Vegas as he did in when he was living in California.

If in fact the kids were told that, it was only to make it seem normal that Murray was coming to the home.

Debbie rowe already said they are not biologically his children nor did they have sex. So stop calling them his children, they are kids he bought since it was getting pricey paying off other ones.

I'm noticing from all these statements that Michael liked to speak in extremes. First, and I'm paraphrasing here, "I'll have to work at McDonald's if things don't work out", now it's "Murray is the best doctor in the world".

He's so dramatic, lol.

He also has remained a staunch defender of Jackson. Bhatti was living at Neverland when Los Angeles police raided the estate in 2003 looking for evidence of child molestation.

An investigator later testified before a grand jury that Bhatti became nervous when he was asked about pornography.

He "seemed to have trouble forming a sentence. It was almost like a stutter," the investigator, Jeffrey Ellis, said on the stand.
