Charles Manson's Attorney Giovanni Di Stefano Asks Obama For Pardon

Sure! And if he does,this will look great for Obama's 2012 re-election!

We all know he is never getting out! So, me thinks, it's a publicity stunt! Lawyers are a wonderful scab on humanity! Manson needs to find "bubba" and get over it! I am surprised the numb-nuts is still alive!

Charlie has spent most of his life in prison, and, actually is very comfortable there. He has his own cell (no cellie) with a t.v. in it, which he enjoys all day. In addition, at his parole hearings, he usually tells the parole board that if they grant him parole, he'll kill again. Then, he will change his mind in interviews and argue that he never killed anyone. Sonja, that is the law, Charlie conspired to commit the murders, indeed, instructed that the murders occur, he then sent others to do his "wet work", he's just as guilty as they are.

When I was in the DA's office, I knew someone who was a law clerk on the Manson trial. The law clerk always told me that the race war was not the real reason Charlie did what he did. Dennis Wilson used to live in the Cielo house. Charlie used to hang there all the time, then Dennis threw him out and rejected Charlie's music, so Charlie blamed Dennis for not making him a rock and roll star. The LoBianco murders the next night were to cover up the identity of the Tate killer, ie, Charlie. At least this is what the ex law clerk told me, among other things about Charlie's real motives.

Guards can be bribed to smuggle in cell phones, it happens all the time.

Uh, hasn't good old Mr. Manson said several times that he does not want to be released from prison because prison is his home?
Hasn't he always sabotaged his parole hearings to be sure he wouldn't be released? Hasn't he refused to even go to his last 2 hearings? Do I smell a lawyer who is doing something ridiculous to get his name in the news?

Obama will pardon Manson and set him free to boost the US Economy!

He as the cult leader could do the samething again.There is no doubt in my mind that this guy did not feel any remorse for his crimes and has no way changed his thinking.

The only way Charles Manson should ever be taken out of prison is in a coffin. He would do nothing but cause more trouble if he were free and he's already lived for much longer in prison than he deserves. Give him back his original death sentence! Why does he get to stay safe on a technicality when others are executed for much less? If they insist on changing his execution to life in prison, then at the very least, it should be an actual LIFE sentence and not release him until he dies!

Besides, don't forget that one of his little friends, Susan Atkins, never got out until she died, which is exactly what she deserved. She was denied parole, what... EIGHTEEN times?! Even when she was dying with cancer, they still wouldn't let her out because she didn't deserve to enjoy freedom and comfort for the last few weeks of her life after she robbed other people of their ENTIRE lives. She showed absolutely NO mercy to her murder victims, even a pregnant lady who begged to live long enough to have her baby, so why she had no right to expect mercy from the public and the justice system.

As for Charles Manson, he was the RING LEADER in all of this, so no way should he be given his freedom when it was (rightfully) denied to his cult members. Let him die incarcerated just like Susan did. If she didn't deserve any freedom, he certainly doesn't either! If you take away someone else's life, you forfeit the right to ever expect to be able to enjoy your own ever again!

I hope I'm no paying for that lawyer but I'm afraid I might be. (I live in California.)

Manson was originally sentenced to die. That sentence was commuted to life imprisonment in 1972.California temporarily eliminated the state's death penalty. California's eventual reinstatement of capital punishment did not affect Manson. He was found guilty of conspiracy to commit the Tate/LaBianca murders carried out by members of the group at his instruction.
He was convicted of the murders through the joint-responsibility rule, each member of a conspiracy is guilty of crimes his fellow conspirators commit.

Manson may not have physically committed those murders, but he orchestrated them. Someone who can brainwash and manipulate the way he did is just as dangerous as the people who physically committed those murders, more so in fact! Hell the sick S.O.B. still maintains followers! Right Manson free........That'll be the day. Sit in your cell and rot boy.
