Drugs Found

"Deadliest Catch" crew member Justin Tennison of the F/V Time Bandit was found dead in a hotel yesterday ... and TMZ has learned cops discovered drugs and alcohol in the room.

Law enforcement officials in Homer, AK tell us they got a call at 12:52 PM yesterday reporting a deceased male at the Best Western Bidarka Inn.  Upon arrival they found 33-year-old Tennison lying on a bed unresponsive.

We're told a search of the room -- which was registered to Justin -- turned up a small amount of marijuana, as well as several bottles of alcohol in the refrigerator.  Cops tell us they believe there had been a party in the room the night before.

It's unknown if the booze and drugs played a role in Justin's death -- his body was transported to the State Medical Examiner ... and an autopsy is scheduled for later today.

Time Bandit captain Andy Hillstrand posted on his Facebook page that Justin had served as an engineer aboard the fishing boat during the offseasons -- and just joined the crew as a deckhand a few months ago for the crab season.

Wow, TMZ... "DRUGS FOUND"!!!! I'd be willing to bet that at least 50% of the staff at TMZ have more drugs & alcohol in their systems now than most of the "stars" that appear in their (retarded) articles.

TMZ, your ethics are questionable and your writing sub-par.

Wow, refer madness all over again. That poor boy had some other things going on there. All will come out in the wash. I have to laugh at the stupidity people still have regarding good old Mary Jane. Prayers up to you Justin. Life is uncertain, smoke pot and eat dessert first...and leave that nasty booze at the store! OH, and stay in school kids!!!

Since TMZ "reporters" like to be featured more and more on TMZ Live and get face-time, perhaps they could start signing their names to their articles? TMZ is getting more outrageous everyday, the employees more narcissistic/fame-whorish then the people they report on.

1998 Ballot Measure 8 in favor 58%.

I think TMZ should be sued for slander. Prescription drugs and "drugs" are clearly 2 different things. Considering it's a Medical Marijuana state, the comment is not only uncalled for, there are ZERO do***ented deaths due to Marijuana.

Vodka Redbull has a higher percentage of death.

Idiots.
