Shopping Book Deal --

Starting Bid $10 Mil

2/26/2011 5:50 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Charlie Sheen tells TMZ he's writing a tell-all book about life on the set of "Two and a Half Men" -- with details about what led up to the final implosion -- and he wants at least $10 mil for the publishing rights.

Charlie Sheen Book Deal
Sheen tells us he wants the world to know what really happened behind-the-scenes of the show during his 8-year run ... the good times and the bad ... and he plans on naming names -- including co-stars.

We're told Sheen even has a title in mind -- "When the Laughter Stopped."

Sheen says even though he's still working on the book -- he's expecting a bidding war for the publishing rights ... starting around $10 mil.

As TMZ first reported, "Men" honchos shut down production for the season after Charlie told us he wanted to fight creator Chuck Lorre.

The show can't survive without an antagonist. It needs a central character - Jerry Seinfeld would be perfect as the long lost "uncle" to Jake. In fact, he could bring some of his old cast members back. It would piss off NBC, but what the heck. The NY - Malibu, California mix would result in endless ideas for comedic situations.

These basement anchored LOOKS who determined that something is wrong with YOU are pathetic.

You are 100% correct.

They lay down with UGLY wives.
Have UGLY kids.
They watch the neighbors through the front window - and then complain when those neighbors are having fun.

Screw um.

THEY shut down the show.

NO ONE can legitimately blame you.

All you did was call a SPADE... a SPADE.

And the SPADE got his feelings hurt???

Get out dude.

Enjoy your life even more.

Have fun,

Mr Man has left the building.

So--Charlie stayed at the show for all these years, hating it, and is just now saying that he hated it? And if he stayed while hating it, but took the enormous amounts of money, doesn't that make him like the hookers he has to hire? If he doesn't get help, and soon, he isn't going to be around long enough to write a book---or watch his children grow up. I have a new respect for CBS.

Why are people trying to pretend Charlie Sheen is something other than he is? He is not, and probably never has been, a really nice guy, an upstanding citizen, a great husband, a great father, a contributing citizen of society.

Just because he has been on a tv show and in some movies (I guess he has, but I haven't seen them), suddenly he is painted as "every man," "a regular guy," "a nice guy just misguided." He sure doesn't seem like any of that to me. He just seems like a spoiled rotten kid who never grew up, who had his every whim indulged, or managed to see that they were whether or not his parents allowed it. He seems like someone with no moral center, no guidance from within, an empty vessel, as they say.

He just seems like a morally corrupt, hedonistic fool. I say let him go his own way and drown in his own filth, which I suspect he will. It would be nice if he were salvageable, but he has to at least have some interest in being saved. All I have heard from him is that he loves his life exactly as it is, and his big ambition seems to be to start a "porn mansion" down the street from his house. At the same time, he has proposed moving his two "ex-families," complete with very young children, into the same neighborhood as this proposed porn mansion.

Frankly, I didn't know people like this were allowed to operate in regular, somewhat decent society and live in neighborhoods with children. Most people keep this type of stupidity on the down low, but not Charlie. He's proud of himself. Don't expect any help for him, because he will never take it. He has no interest in changing.

I had a similar thing happen to me the last time I got really high on coke about 20 years ago. It was the middle of the night and I decided my life story needed to be told and started to wright an autobiography and completed about five pages and then stuffed them underneath my couch when the high started to wear off. They were still there about 8 years later when I got a new couch.

I have to admit, I have never been a Sheen fan and hated Two and A Half Men, but I feel really sorry for the guy. I think it is really clear that he is in some sort of manic state and crazed from withdrawals and the fact that TMZ is exploiting it is even sadder. When Charlie's done withdrawing - hopefully he makes it to the other side without using drugs again - he is going to be so humiliated by the spectacle he has made of himself with his words and actions. I hope he can heal from this and still salvage his career, but most of all, I hope he stops talking to TMZ.

A book by Chuck Lorre would be far more interesting. I'll summarize Charlie Sheen's book right now - "Although I was paid $2 mil per episode to memorize words and then repeat them, I'm a poor, unloved, little victim. Pity me. And although I often showed up to work too wiped-out to stand in place (what exhausting work!) I am the only person responsible for the success of the show." What an *******.

Why would I want to read a book written by a guy who was in a stoned-out fog the entire time.

Chapter 1

"Dear Readers,

Everybody is an idiot except for me.

Everybody on set was mad because I showed up late today but what their little un-evolved brains can't comprehend is that I was actually early for tomorrow!

Snorted some coke for lunch and hired a hooker to tell me that my d*ck isn't actually broken.

As usual Jon Cryer got all the laughs but that's only because the little earthworms in the audience are too un-evolved to know that I actually control laughter with my flame-throwing fists of fury and lightening bolts shot from my a$$!

Snorted some coke and hired a hooker to tie my shoes. Bitch stole my watch."

Chapter 2...

I got it - Charlies next movie, a remake of "Overboard", but he is taken in by some a Rastafarian who keeps him doped up and his sex addiction satisfied.

Agreed with most here, 2.5 Men was never funny. Charlie is clearly going broke as we speak if he's looking for $5 million an episode from HBO and $10 million for a book deal. He killed the goose that laid the golden egg. He would have been much better off staying on drugs, it seemed to keep him calm as opposed to his recent outbursts. I like Charlie, I want to see another Major League movie but I'm glad this war may lead to the final end the comedy lobotomy that is Two and a Half Men.

The show is not funny, it's repetative and stupid. Your rants are getting less and less sympathy every day. Time to shut up and go away to Charlie Land, where you win and have goddess types tell you your a genuis. Your an a-hole beyond anyone you could write about and now everyone knows it.

Oh fer cryin out loud!

Hope no publisher picks up that stupid book idea - nobody ****ing CARES what happened behind the scenes!

Charlie's just feeling a little self-important these days due to his bipolar Manic episode. All cameras off him, now! He's due for a media blackout so we don't have to watch him burn every bridge he's ever had.

Bet the rest of the people that work on the show are thrilled with him about now! HA!

What an ass.
