Jon Cryer -- That's Not My Twitter!

2/26/2011 5:15 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Various media outlets are reporting Jon Cryer has broken his silence -- via Twitter -- on the whole Charlie Sheen/"Two and a Half Men" fiasco -- except he DOESN'T HAVE A TWITTER ACCOUNT!!!

0224_jon_cryer_EX

The Twitter page in question looked shady to us, so we asked his rep, who quickly responded: "Actually Jon does not have a Facebook or Twitter account. I would love for you to let folks know this is all bogus."

Done.

And maybe that's why he's having so many problems, because when you shoot a movie that's it, the job is done. As oppose to filming a sitcom which is long and ongoing.

@ #57 Janar ~ what are you talking about????? Are you saying that Charlie is having problems because he couldn't adjust to working on an ongoing sitcom vs a movie? Charlie Sheen is no longer known as a "movie" star because he hasn't been in one of any substance for at least the past 10 years. He's been doing sitcoms for the past 10 years; 8 yrs on 2 1/2 Men, and before that he did 2 years on Spin City . . . he's been much more successful doing comedy on sitcoms then in any movie, only a few of his films were hits anyway. Lots of people "adjust" and go to work everyday, it's called growing up ~ Aside from his personal life, he has had a good work record and ethic, shows up to work, getting his job done timely and professionally. That is not his problem ~ it's his personal relationships, ego, drugs, partying and getting in a public war of words with Lorre. They both should have worked in out in private, and not made hasty decisions, shooting off their mouth in public forums; which has involved the entire cast and crew in the dispute.

I too caught up with this show on re-runs as I've always thought CS to be an arrogant pig and I couldn't be bothered watching anything with him in it, but when I watched it I really laughed out loud at Jon and Angus and the mum, the housekeeper, ROSE haha. I would love that show if CS was NOT in it, he cant act anyway, plus he's BUTT UGLY. In fact, since the day the news broke that he held a knife up to the neck of the mother of his children, I stopped watching it, and havent watched it since.

The rest of the cast & crew of this show have been really classy in their silence. I applaud each of them and wish them all the best finding new employment

#9 BillyKay, or is that Lorre posing as a BillyKay imposter? Sounds like Lorre's rant.

Me too, Jon Cryer! No Facebook or Twitter account here either. Stay classy, unlike the people you work with. We like you.

Great athletes make their sport look easy - same applies here. This sitcom is so darn funny because there is solid writing and fantastic acting. Not to make excuses for Charlie, but apparently the show has taken it's toll upon Charlie. We really don't know what has transpired behind the scenes. He has given MUCH to the cast and his fans - time for him to rest a bit. I'll truly miss the show but I'm still pulling for you Charlie! You're the talent and I'll be waiting for the next act in your career.
~~~ Always your fan ~~~
Right. He's done had enough already. They are trying to ride out on his coat tail. Charlie Sheen is not used to doing long and ongoing sitcom roles. He is used to doing movie characters, where it does'nt take eight years to make a movie.
How long were they planning on riding this show out with Charlie Sheen anyway? He's done already gave them eight years. Did they forget he's a movie star already? In fact, you could even say he's doing the show and it's other characters a favor by putting this show in the spotlight, even on an international basis.
Because before it was not.
# 57 Natalie. You had me...until you said Angelina Jolie! Ewwwww! And really, Charlie doing those kind of good selfless acts? He's doing great lately if he remembers to sign his latest porn star's check.
Hi Just Me, lol @ Spin City, because eventhough I did not watch that show, I do remember it. And, I did not know that Charlie Sheen was in it. But nevertheless, that was only 2 years of sitcom acting as oppose to 8 long years. As for his movie career, Platoon, Wall Street, and Young Guns solidifies his movie star acting career, because they are classic movies, aside from other movies he was in (which were probably bogus to me, because I did'nt watch them). If he never makes another movie again in his life, they alone are enough to classify him as a movie star, as oppose to a sitcom star. Per you, he's done two sitcoms. But, he has starred in more than two movies.
So, this is the point that I was making. That he is used to doing movies as opposed to doing sitcoms.
Thanks again.
I don't know whether I detect a hint of egotism, or rage when he made the comment about ugly wives and ugly children. Either way, he was wrong, and he definitely owes an apology. That was definitely not a grown-up/responsible approach to the situation.
Very few actors can make an unfunny script funny -
Charlie's one of the rare ones.
If you think Chuck Lorre is still relevant as a writer -
Watch as much as possible of MIKE AND MOLLY --
Me I lasted a good six minutes.
Kill off charlie and do a show revolving around Jake and how he lives his life always weighing in the balance of the influences of his dad and dead uncle charlie. Fun if charlie left everything to Jake and his dad had to be at his beck and call. The original cast aside from charlie would carry this off beautifully and i want to know what happens to the kid, i really do. Jon Cryer would have no trouble in anything he acts in he is amazing and adaptable.
