Lorre: Sheen's Fall From Grace is a 'Sprint'

3/1/2011 10:00 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Chuck Lorre just posted an existential statement on his website with a vanity card from tonight's episode of "Mike and Molly" -- and if we're reading it correctly, it sounds like "Two and a Half Men" is over and out.

The statement is long and rambling -- it seems he's mocking Charlie's recent ramblings.  Lorre says, "I believe that consciousness creates the illusion of individualism, the false feeling of being separate."  Translation:  Charlie may think he's blazing his own path but he's still on the well-traveled trail of life.

Lorre goes on:  "I further believe that this existential misunderstanding is the prime motivating force for the neurotic compulsion to blot out consciousness."  Translation:  Charlie is living in a dream world.

There are other gems, but Lorre ends by writing, "The Fall from Grace is, in fact, a Sprint from Grace.  Or perhaps more accurately, Screw Grace, I am so outta here!"

As for writing, "I am so outta here!" could be Lorre talking or it could be what Lorre thinks Charlie is saying.

The more we think about it, it seems he's referring to Charlie, but either way, what really seems "outta here" is "Two and a Half Men."

Well, that clears things up.

Mr. Lorre,

You are Adonis. Your sense of consciousness transcends all bounds.

Your body of work is Godly. When you take a breath, the World breathes.

Keep up the good work.

God... Chuck Lorre must be going nuts reading the "mis-translation" of such a succint statement. Questions? Sure there are... but go to Lorre rather than stumble around with speculations.

Listen... both Charlie and Chuck are at fault for the breakdown in relations and the resultant shut-down of the show. Shake hands and get over it - neither of you two are so fragile that a few harsh words exchanged publically are going to damage you to any serious extent.

The best thing you can both do is acknowledge the problem, address it in a workable manner and then...GET BACK TO WORK!

If you really believe in AA, Chuck, then you owe it to AA to admit your part in the problem. I seriously doubt you'd see Charlie unwilling to work together if you just acknowledge it's a 2-man problem.

You've got a GREAT cast and so much potential for more great shows... get over the ego and get back to work.

For his part, too, Charlie should recognize that your attempts to "control" his life were sincerely based in a desire for his quality of life... if not for his sheer survival. You both were motivated by the right reasons...just acted on those reasons in a manner that wasn't successful.

Go back to work and show the viewers that they are your number 1 motivation.

Mr. Lorre,

Charlie is entirely replaceable. Robert Downey Jr. would be an excellent fix.

P.S. Anything you can do to get his kids away from him? He has a history of violence against himself and others . . . no way toddlers should be left in the care of prostitutes and a deranged drug addict.

Davey Boy

Don't watch any of Lorre's shows, but they're all mindless crap comedies. So I've never even heard of the guy before Charlie's meltdown.

This guy's a writer, right? Well write something coherent! Write what you feel in complete normal sentences. Quit trying to be so creative that you thought and intentions are clouded in fluff.

I realize that Mr. Lorre is trying to be clever or funny, but he comes off as being a sycophant.

Jesus Christ Chuck Lorre is getting exactly what he wants here!! Mike and Molly has become a huge hit now as well along with Men and Big Bang and other shows. Lorre is obviously having trouble keeping creative with all the shows and is using Sheen's behavior as an excuse. If he wasn't he would continue to be silent but he again has to antagonize Charlie with these bull**** vanity cards. Sheen will sue, and win(no morals clause)but in the long run all us fans lose!! ****ing Hollywood!!!

Toddlers left with a deranged drug addict with a gun who has shown no reluctance to use it in the past . . . ask Kelly Preston.

Hey, let's all help out. Can TMZ set up a forum so that we can send in script ideas? Or how 'bout if we write a short script, and the winner gets to write a segment for the show?

Haha, I so love the first comment.

Lorre should go back to working at his parent's cafe. The "boy" is just as obnoxious and devoid of social skills as Sheen.

Lorre sounds like an arrogant, pretentious a**hole. Oh well, this is Hollywood.
