'Men' Co-Creator -- The Show MUST Go On!!!

3/2/2011 9:00 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

The guy who co-created "Two and a Half Men" with Chuck Lorre is FIGHTING to make sure the show does NOT get canceled ... and has been telling people, "This show is not over."

0301_lee_chuck_EX_Getty

Lee Aronsohn – an executive producer on "Men" and "Big Bang Theory" -- has been vocal about NOT wanting to cancel "Men" .. especially because Lee recently made a deal to leave his post on "Big Bang Theory" to focus on Sheen's show.

But that was before the drama started.

Now, sources connected to the production tell us Lee had a "big meeting" with Chuck and a mystery third party yesterday regarding the fate of "Men."

We're told the mystery person could be another actor from the show ... or a bigtime exec.

Stay tuned ...

Now don't get my wrong. Angus is a good kid and not at all influenced by Sheen. I think he once used to admire him when the show was younger but I doubt he would be able to look Charlie in the eye now.

I'm not talking about marriage here!!

It's just that thing where you can't stop looking...like a train wreck.

Why does everyone keep calling him "drugged up" He passed a recent drug test, urine and blood, at the near begining of this?!

I did see it. I still regard much of what he says as the rantings of someone simultaneously dealing with untreated bipolar disorder and drug/alcohol withdrawal. I don't know if he'd be nearly as arrogant without those influences. Still, his continuing derogatory remarks about Mr. Lorre and the network are unprofessional and clearly antagonistic. If he keeps up that behaviour, he might be risking more than merely the cancellation of "TAAHM".

LOL @ "I'm not talking about marriage here!!" Too funny!

[snip]

"Why does everyone keep calling him "drugged up" He passed a recent drug test, urine and blood, at the near begining of this?!"

Probably because his on-screen behaviour has been so bizarre -- presumably due to the stoppage of alcohol and drugs, which apparently had been helping to keep a lid on the actor's mania -- that the public was convinced they were witnessing the shocking effects of ongoing substance abuse.

HM, oh he's already breached the contract however since it is a show based on him its harder to fire the 'star' of a hit show just like that. He also has a few 'sweetners' in his contract. But I guarantee you that contract is being looked over with a fine tooth comb. The more he talks, the more his lawsuit and situation will worsen. Lets see how far he goes. :)

HM Jealousy, insecurity, instability It's all of the above. Don't have to be a Dr. to figure that. There isn't anyone person on this earth he hasn't dissed. I love how he did the I love my fans. Then under his breath losers. I have no idea what his deal is with crappy cars but I see a gremlin in his future if he doesn't reach out here soon.

You're right. In regards to his fans, he talks out of two sides of his mouth. On one hand, he urges them to join him in this "war". On the other hand, he insults the viewing audience, calling us losers, with ugly spouses and sad lives. That man needs help. He should spend a few months helping out in Haiti or New Zealand, to see how incredibly lucky he has been.

Kelly He has been abusing drugs for years and years! He recently stay clean long enough to pass a drug test. Long term effects of drugs and god knows what other issues. He's an addict and he knows it. Charlie will never stay clean with his surroundings. He has already created a choice to fail. He thinks he's invincible.
One day he will wake up with his body shutting down and the doctors tell him there's nothing we can do. His mind power is not going to fix that. When you're dead you're dead.

That drug test was a set up. Why? he didn't do it until three days AFTER saying he'd do it. Guess what? After 72 hrs ANYONE can pass a drug test. Fact!

With each new interview Charlie Sheen gives to every non-CBS network and gossip site, complaining about the studio and producers, I keep thinking how his belief that he's going to walk away with a truckload of money, is so misinformed. While he might have some kind of leverage due to the premature end of the season's filming, I figure CBS et al. are lining up their ducks, waiting for him to dig his own grave (no pun intended) just a bit further before launching their own legal blitzkrieg.

HM He really should do something different. You would think it would have crossed his mind after all these years? It's like take a time out. Leave your wallet home and explore the world. He may THINK outside the box but lives in a small box. Look what happened to Cory Haim? That was just tragic.

Ur father, Martin Sheen is not all that bad. Listen...
"Sorry Charlie" Sheen.
You been wanting to give up for awhile. We all know it! U been passing the torch/burdens to John (last years grammies,
"John's turn").
as u say, "DUH!" and "NOBODY WINS."
Practice what you preach. When you say you can do 10 seasons, Do it!. Finish what you started!
U R All TALK, BUT CANT WALK THE LINE!
Or just be honest...

I can see the 'suits' playing this card. They'll go to him to call his bluff and say "alright, Charlie. We'll give you S9. Under one condition. Same contract, same deal. Take it or leave it." Then if he doesn't take it, guess what, game over for him and watch the lawsuits roll on in from the production, network and Lorre. Bring it!

It's pretty much a waiting game at this point. Charlie is betting CBS/Lorre will blink first. I don't think we'll have to wait much longer to see who emerges the victor.

Or, as Charlie would say: THE WINNER!

If you were his mother or father, what would you say to him right now? (If he were to listen, lol)
