He has fulfilled 60 days of his 180 days of community service (that would be 180 unpaid hours of picking up trash, cleaning graffiti, and scooping horse manure from police horse barns, which involves getting up at the crack of dawn for unpaid labor), he has completed 120 hours of domestic violence counseling, he has abided by all his court orders (including not engaging in any violent behavior while constantly being mocked and harrassed by papparazzi and people in the general public attempting to incite him), and he has seen the ending of a long-term relationship as a result of his actions, despite any desire he might have to continue that relationship. Additionally, he has done volunteer work in domestic violence shelters in Los Angeles with children (not a part of his court order, but just because he wanted to understand the cycle of violence more fully) and he has contributed money and volunteerism to several charities (Best Buddies working with mentally retarded children, charity basketball games, raising money for underpriviledged children in both Virginia and for the Earthquake victims of Haiti, Man Up anti-violence charity in Virginia) while his earning potential certainly wasn't what it once was due to the charges against him. He has attended all his court ordered hearings, been lavished with praise from the judge (""Of all the probationers I have had, no one has done a better job, or been more consistent than you. You are working diligently.") In addition to all that, he has been working tirelessly on his craft, having starred in a number 1 movie, having put out 3 free mixtapes of new music for his fans, having collaborated with both new artists and veterans in R-n-B and hip hop to the point where he has a worldwide top 10 single and collaborations with 16 different artists currently out or charting on various charts all over the world. He has written the title track for Mary J. Blige's most recent album, is readying a world tour to start in March in Australia and is about to put out a double disk of music in March. He had a number 1 song on the R-n-B chart from a self-promoted mix tape (ie: no major label promotion) for 9 weeks in late 2010 and currently holds the number one song on the R-n-B chart from the same mix tape. He is currently working on studying urban art with several prolific artists. He just had 3 grammy nominations. He has put his nose to the grindstone in both his personal and professional life to EARN his fame through hard work and resilience. How much volunteer work have you done in the last several months?
