Dr Drew tried so hard but Mike just couldn't grasp it. I'm sure his poor Dad is devistated. Thoughts and prayers to all.
RIP Mike...maybe you are playing again with Lane.

Ps...Charlie Sheen will be joining you if he does not get some help.
So tragic to watch these very talented guys self destruct because their drug addictions along with mental illness gets out of control.

Mike and Dr Drew worked hard together to end his addiction. Mike was very sincere on the show about resolving his problem. I'll never forget the segment when Mike and Layne's mom discussed his death. Sad news.

Guess he just couldn't try to deal anymore. Such a sad and angry soul he was. If there is something after this awful thing we call life, I hope he has a better experience there.

WOW...

Wow...ironic that he kicks his heroin/methodone addiction to get hooked on pescribed pain killers and ant-depressants only for them to kill him.....shows you how horrible prescribed barbs are ....sad...

I was really rooting for Mike. Too bad, he'd been doing really well for awhile. Much sympathy for his family.

Rehab does not work - it just gives false hope to loved ones while taking all of their money. Either a person wants to quit or they don't, whether in rehab or not. Hopefully they decide to stop before it is too late - if it's too late, than being institutionalized or death are the only way out.

I am from Seattle and we love are musicians, My heart goes out to his family. I can't say It's a surprise, But as long as an addict is still alive there is always hope. Not now! Layne was there to greet him guaranteed! Keep on Rocking Mike loud enough for us to hear!
Peace, From Home. R.I.P Mike you shall suffer no more.

Charlie, get your act together or else end up dead. There is no "winning" when your dead.

REST IN PEACE Mike. This is really sad. He never got over his friend's death after all these years and didn't see the point in trying to make his life any better. Tragic. Condolences to his family and friends.
