Gilbert went to his Twitter page over the past 24 hours and dropped TWELVE tsunami-inspired jokes ... including:

So we gotta ask ...

"Too funny, everyone is too sensitive, it's a joke, take it as a joke, leave it as a joke. It's just words - get over it."

You're as idiotic as this moronic Hollywood loser. You don't make a joke out of people's sufferings and you don't make a joke at the expense of nation's catastrophic disaster that resulted to thousands of deaths and monumental distractions! So if people all over the world had made fun of the Katrina victims and the 9/11 event how would you idiots feel? How would you morons feel if the rest of the world WILL MAKE A JOKE OUT OF EVERY SUFFERING THAT AMERICANS WILL GO THROUGH AND AND EVERY DISASTER THAT THE US WILL EXPERIENCE? You #2 and this Hollywood loser are the VERY REASONS WHY MOST PEOPLE OUTSIDE THE US HATE THE AMERICANS!!! Instead of spewing tasteless jokes why don't you and this Hollywood loser offer condolences to all the victims of that horrendous earthquake and tsunami in Japan! MORONS!
That Hollywood loser should have used his Twitter account and his being a celebrity in SPREADING GOODWILL TO ALL THE VICTIMS OF THE RECENT DISASTER IN JAPAN INSTEAD OF MAKING STUPID JOKES OUT OF THE SUFFERING OF THE JAPANESE!! I will not be surprised if there would be monumental backlash from people all over the world pointed at that loser and yes, Americans. I wish him ALL THE BAD LUCK IN HIS LIFETIME.
Freedom of speech has been brought up a few times here and it warrants being addressed.
Yes, this comedian does have the right to freely speak his mind and not have his rights abridged by congress according to the First Amendment. However, Freedom of Speech does NOT guarantee or even imply a freedom from repercussions. If one chooses to make inflammatory statements, then others have the very SAME freedom of speech right to disagree and speak out against it. It works both ways.
Hence, don’t dish it out if you are not prepared to have it dished right back. Freedom of speech is a two way street.
And THAT is the American way...;)
This guy, Gilbert Gottfried, wrote these stupid and sickeningly offensive so-called jokes on Twitter. If he has any sense and conscience, which I doubt, he should apologize to the Japanese people. No one should blame the American people as a whole or the Jewish people as a whole for Gilbert Gottfried's unacceptable comments. I would be surprised if AFLAC continues to use him as the voice of their corporate duck in their commercials since AFLAC is the second largest insurance company in Japan. Gilbert, say goodbye to your job working for AFLAC. Any other people you'd like to insult, Gilbert, so you can lose some more jobs, endorsements and money? What a putz, you are, Gilbert Gottfried. A putz means a big wanker.
there are a group of them that ALWAYS help in emergency situations no matter what part of the world (Julia Roberts, George Clooney, Madonna, Bono, Sting, etc). Thank goodnees there are some with a heart and compassion that use their fame to do good.

Charlotte,
How right you are. The tasteless and heartless posters here just feed Mr. Levin's machine. As I am posting this, our military is in harms way, (yet once again) helping another nation with a horrific situation. But, let's make fun of Japan. "It's natural", right? So the professionals here claim, "to deal with tragedy" through comedy.
TMZ has made anything "off limits" as long as that revenue keeps flowing. De-sensitized.....is such a nasty word...yet we see many here post their (LOL) and other remarks about a country going through unbelievable heartbreak.
And if a buck is to be made, Mr. Levin will slither in and stir the pot, to add to his bank account.
Some of you, actually, many of you are starting to see this. THAT is why I come back here to post MY opinion(s).
TMZ....where small minds think alike.

I could not agree with you more. Excellent point and post.

Nothing at all funny about it. That makes him NOT A COMEDIAN, but an idiot.
And those who laugh at it have bigger issues than he does.
He used to be funny but is now a "has been" trying to cash in on the tragedies of others....very very poor taste....
Gas him. Ugly jew.

Lady,
That's not the right way to go about anything...as much as I feel that way, it solves nothing.

Bravo Harvey for posting the jokes and Gilbert for delivering them! To all of you people who do not like, too bad!!! You all need to lighten up, if you weren't on TMZ.com in the first place, you would have never seen them, you hypocrites!!!!! At last check, this is still America, and Gilbert has the right to say whatever he wants and have his own opinion, just like all of you idiots who want to sit here and bash him!!

How sad, how true. The above poster just symbolizes what I have been stating here. America is/has gone down the toilet....and who is holding the plunger? Mr. Levin. Shoveling s**t down as fast as he can to get more his revenue generating machine.
TMX.....where small minds think alike.
LOSER >>> Attention seeking moron at the expense of lost lives during a catastrophe of huge proportions. How dare this freak none of us have ever heard of take a ride on the lives of Japan's innocent, who are victims no less than he may be one day. For now until he reaps worse rewards, he is a victim of his own ignroance and venom and we'll be sure he remains one a**hole we never spend a dime to see.
Lil Wayne does a dance on Old Glory for a new music video! Lots of people are pissed he chose to disrespect the U.S. Flag ... while others think he's justified. Will the protest hit Weezy where it hurts most -- the wallet?Plus, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's bundle of joy…
This wolf just got a lot less hairy. "True Blood" hottie Joe Manganiello chopped off his…
